Cheers Sam

Yes I'll be back for more next season, enjoyed it very much.

I do wonder about the merit of a 2nd half prize but I'm not going to make a big issue of it.

Very well played guys and thanks for organising Sam.

Must admit I'm a bit gutted I dropped from the top in the last two weeks.

In my defence, 4 of my last 5 transfer were due to injuries and I never got the chance to consolidate with Man City defenders.

I was hoping Hart, Baines, Vidic and Ivanovic would keep them blasted Wolves from the door but 3 clean sheets..............jeez

Sorry to say, but it was 4  Bad luck at the end though Sted, especially with the injuries. Really unfortunate. Have to say I got quite a bit of luck winning this, I had 3 City defenders before the cup semi and only 3 transfers left, a different result there and I might not even have been in the prize picture.

Was my first time in this two-team league and really enjoyed it, thanks a lot for organising it Sam!

If you're after suggestions for the future then some sort of side-prize where each person's two teams play as a pair could be good! Maybe something like a cup competition where the highest of your two teams' scores in the given week counts? Would definitely play again as-is though! :D

My details are on their way :)

Agree with Steve that because it's a two foot challenge we could incorporate that somehow.

Maybe a prize for the aggregate score of your two teams?

Thanks for running the comp Sam.

I really enjoyed the current format, and think the 2nd half comp is a very good initiative for those of us who have clearly have no chance overall in the league by say, week 10-15.

I'm not too fussed either way on this prize, but thought it's worth noting that the second half winner "Righty Tighty" was 44th at the halfway stage and finished 5th. So it could be argued using this example that the second-half prize is almost unnecessary, since a highly successful second half could land you an overall prize unless you're right at the very very bottom at midway.

thanks sam for organising and for the updates, and congratulations to the winners!

i don't think my team moved from 30th place for the entire season! :)

no strong opinions on how to improve, although agree with the suggestion that somehow the aggregate score of both teams could be made into a league or cup competition... :)

Money receieved OK Sam - thanks again

Surprised I held on to 2nd as I was sitting on only 1 remaining transfer from mid-April and had Torres in it for some considerable time!

Re: possible comp tweaks, I'm personally not a great fan of 2nd half comps as they are quite frequently won by the overall winner himself. As reds suggested, as it's a 2 team challenge, perhaps some sort of average score of the 2 teams in a cup competition might be better, although of course that does mean more admin - would at least ensure both teams are given reasonably equal attention?

Final footnotes:

- prizes to the four winners have been acknowledged; cheers

- thanks also for feedback; Cup side-contest sounds a reasonable option; progress in each round could be determined by a manager's two-team total (or else his/her better team score); shall weigh this up against the extra admin and announce way forward before Two Foot Challenge kicks off again in August.

In the meantime, have a good summer.
