You've got form for picking out glamorous fantasy football legends at full back haven't you?

Jonathan Pearce is the worst these days, did you happen to witness his Spanish team commentary during WC2010?

Deal done.

Hoping he takes over spot kick duties after Helguson's shocking effort at the weekend.

It would be madness to take a punt on him now IMO, with plenty of other well proven defenders available at that price and with QPR's form. A wait and see for me.

I can't see a single mad thing about it.

Ok so how about'hw will he adapt to the PL' or 'will he definitely play' and 'when will you ever play him, as QPR's defence is poor' or 'you could have a proven Swansea or Fulham (good fixtures) defender for less'?

It seems to me that people are jumping on him as he has goal scoring potential from set pieces but you don't even know if he will takethe set pieces and he looks a bit clumsy to me from the other Youtube video above.

will he adapt to the PL?

- He promised he will give his best, this is a risk with every new player but I personally think he has what it takes for sure.

"I’m very grateful to Mark Hughes for bringing me here. It is always nice for a player when you know the manager wants you and I will repay his faith in me. I can’t wait to play for the club. I know only hard work, good performance, dedication, and passion will connect me with the fans but I’m prepared. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead and I’m prepared to give my all to the QPR cause."

will he definitely play?

- He came to play, judging by the enthusiasm of Mark Hughes. He is at LB, which was shared by Armand Traore and Clint Hill... I mean common :)

when will you ever play him, as QPR's defence is poor?

- If I get him, I will play him home games (avl, WOL, bla, FUL, EVE, bol). QPR defence was poorer then most, but with some new players and a new manager could tighten up at the back.

you could have a proven Swansea or Fulham (good fixtures) defender for less

Yes, you could. And IMO, you should. But all in all, he is that type of player that I think is worth a shot, and brings that much needed spark of excitement and differential. Worst case scenario - 2points, not exactly a disaster in my book and given how clean sheets are not something I count on, ever.

Personally, I think BAE  Taiwo will be my GW24 transfer.

Pretty much standard dialogue for any player arriving at a new club, surely  If he is that good then why are AC Milan getting rid of him and why hasn't another big club come in for him?

I agree he could be a good differential for those with the confidence and feeling brave and not really much to lose TBH if you have 3 or 4 other decent defenders but I think there are better options elsewhere until he proves he has more to offer than the others at his price.

Hehehe I think you are focusing on the wrong thing here, its the "I think he has what it takes" part that is important.

I'll see how Onuoha and Taiwo do against Villa away and make a decision after that. They have a good run of fixtures after that, 3 homes games against Blackburn, Fulham and Everton.

I'd rather be 1-2 GWs behind a player who hits form than buying someone who may hit the ground running, but may not.

One of the reasons why I've never considered Torres.

Taiwo apparently hasn't got a valid UK work permit yet, so it may be wise to wait until he gets one.

a new full back doesnt change the fact QPR have two awful C/B's and are likely to carry on shipping goals

Onuoha is a good young prospect and Diakite will solidify their midfield.

Hughes is also a better manager than Warnock and will get them fitter and more organised.

Taiwo is an infinitely better defender than Clint Hill and a major threat form set pieces.

In conclusion, the lads a great FPL prospect imo and as long as he comes through tomorrow nights game ok, he'll be in my team next week.
