Hughes is also a better manager than Warnock and will get them fitter and more organised.

Totally disagree Hughes is a awful manager..

He's no Mourinho but he's a step up on the clown that is Neil Warnock and the vibes from the players seem good with regards to how he has come across in his early sessions.

I like Warnock i honestly think he knows more about football management in his little toe than Hughes does in his whole body..

Hughes will get QPR relegated

I was a big fan of Warnock, and you will struggle to find a QPR fan who won't consider him to now be a QPR legend in the short time he was with us.

However, not one of those new signings (I won't count Macheda because he came when Warnock was there and is rubbish) would have signed for Warnock - and there is the difference I am afraid.

Expect Warnock to go to Leeds, sort them out, get them up and then....?

Onuoha is a good young prospect and Diakite will solidify their midfield.

Hughes is also a better manager than Warnock and will get them fitter and more organised.

Taiwo is an infinitely better defender than Clint Hill and a major threat form set pieces.

In conclusion, the lads a great FPL prospect imo and as long as he comes through tomorrow nights game ok, he'll be in my team next week.

Just to clarify. you're talking about Taiwo? i do like him to .. about to do BAE  Taiwo.. just auful fixtures for tot, though it will tough to get BAE back.. do you think this a bad move? I also like Onucha i remember he was great with sunderland last season, and can score too. wonder which one of the 2 is better fpl choice... thinking Taiwo..

Uber fire power upfront with 275 strikers, a mediocre midfield and dodgy defence.
If one must get a QPR rep in his FPL team, better pick a guaranteed midfielder who might benefit from the ever changing strong strike force yet doesn't suffer from the weak defence...

Blimey give it time. Three new players in the team last night, two of which were defenders who have probably only known each other for a few days. It'll come.

err... not talking about last night rather about the situation in QPR in general.
I don't think they're a team to be relied upon for CSs - which is a major consideration when picking FPL defenders.
Rather, I was suggesting that to utilise their fixtures, a guaranteed starting midfielder would be a better option (eg SWP)

Maybe now with the new strikers his fortunes will change too.

the problem with all this being that competition for midfield places in fpl teams is at an all-time high whilst defenders are all much of a muchness and taiwo would be a direct swap for another mid-low table defender.

personally have got him in after the villa match, will probably regret it but I am in a grump at my team at the moment which is hindering my decision-making skills.

He had a poor game by all accounts, but it was a tricky game because Villa were all over us.

Hutton (dressed as lamb) had his game of the season getting in loads of dangerous crosses from the cumbersome Taiwo's area.
Onuoha kicked Robbie Keane black and blue more out of incompetence than malice.
This lot will prove a big test for Hughes defensive coaching abilities.

Bugger-I was considering him as a replacement for Wes Brown too.

Back to the drawing board. :|

Actually - scrap that.

I've just done some reading online and i'm going to take a punt. His goalscoring record is pretty good for a full back (averaged 3 a season at Marseille) and loves a foray forward and a shot on goal.

I need a replacemnt for Wes Brown and QPR have decent fixtures - you never know, there might be the odd clean sheet thrown in for good measure too.

Good differential IMO.

Plus, Traore is awful so i cant see him shifting Taiwo from the LB slot.

I wasnt entirely convinced until i read a comment on one of the youtube vids i watched which said:

Quote:
Taiwo is a good player, he's fast, he's black, he's got power, and he's black.

He's now definitely coming in to my side.

Taiwo to play left wing

http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london ... -30262601/?

For me, clean sheets are the bread and butter for defenders and QPR havent had one for 15 games so i really dont think Taiwo is worth bringing in on the off chance he may get the odd assist.

I Genuinely don't care any more but this pleases me. :D

Taken him in and I hope he goes batshit mental.

I have no real love for anyone else in his £££ category- if after 4 weeks it doesn't work I'll take Johnny Evans in.

Did anyone watch the game? Where did he play?

Think he's a good cheap option in defense, two home fixtures coming up as well, got to be one clean sheet there at least.
