All Divisions will participate in this side competition which will be free to enter of course.

Slight change this year in that I'm going to give everyone 2 game weeks in each round, this should help to reduce the luck element and hopefully will give their teams a home and away game for their players.

The only "rules" are :-
1. Please post tables from your Divsion during the cup weeks so I can up date the cup scores to see who is winning/losing.
2. Please keep your team up to date on your divisional thread so that your opponent can see what he is up against.

I decided that the top 6 Eggcuppers will receive byes in the first round of the cup competition, unusually the Premier holds half of the places.
1 Totempaul 316 (Championship)
2 Neathboy 301 (Prem)
3 BFM 283 (Prem)
4 Saint 282 (Champ)
5 Top Banana 281 (League2)
6 Lucky7's 280 (Prem)

We have 58 playing in the egg leagues so with 6 byes this leaves 52 to play the first round, 26 ties, the winners join the 6 byes giving us 32 in the next round which is what we need going forwards.

So here is the eagerly awaited draw foir the 1st Round which will use the points earned in the first 2 weeks after the International Break being October 16th and 23rd. Tie of teh round for me has to be Canary Yellow v Murf doubles partners of old !

Good luck !

Is she drawing them out slowly to build the tension.

You could've ranked everyone by their total points scored, with transfers used to break ties (then division followed by alphaboligical order)

Would probably have been a shade quicker too

Draw done. Fish and chips done.

Back to my spreadsheet, done.

Now, normally I would copy the info into paint, save file and import using Photobucket.

Trouble is I have an apple lappy at home and the paint equivalent is paintbrush and it doesn't give you the option to paste it in (it's greyed out).

Any ideas so I can post tonight otherwise I will email it to work and do it tomorrow.

When we beat Northampton, does that make us better than Liverpool?

Could be an ideal time for us to meet (from a neutral exciting cup tie sort of thing). The transition between your early season picking excellence and my latter season transferring and sorting.

But I'll still get an excuse in early and bleat about my short term injury list......

This looks like fun. Jeffersdn first won't be easy.

UHH - is it not possible to create a URL for each full league table (the single page with pts, starting xi and goals) and then you could feed that lot to excel to do the work for you - rather than waiting for posted tables?

Knulpuk gets a bye as The Pom sadly didn't get to enter into League 1 and I also corrected an error as Mystery is now Championship not Premiership as previously stated.

Next week is the 2nd leg of the Round 1 ties.

I am away next week so I will provide the update on my return on November 1st with the Round 2 draw.

Good luck.

So we will find out next week. Or swap the scores by PM's with your opponent if you can't wait.
