It would be handy if the overall league position of your opponent could be shown on the draw page ( how good are your opponent etc ).

Never took much notice of this competition - but have just discovered I finished 2nd in my league (with a much superior points difference to the league winner) - in the next round I have drawn:

another great name (Mark Franks)

Is this a side competition worth concentrating on and if so does anyone have any (sensible) tips and tactics?

You need some luck with 11 rounds. I'm gonna seem where i am after each update, then see if I need to make transfers or not.

Woody’s Hammers 003 v Highley Hotspur (john bywater)
Woody's-Hammers 006 v Churchmans Clothcap (Ralph Dryhurst) Woody's-Hammers 009 v Jarra Juicemeisters(Kris McCarthy) Woody's-Hammers 010 v Andy's second team (Andy Marshall)

Read that if tied it will go down to goals scored which quite easily could be tied too, here's hoping after that it's not decided by alphabetical order as I've too many W's! Guess it would be decided on overall league position which would seem the fairest way.

Seems pretty strange this that they haven't elaborated on the system of deciding who goes through if points scored and goals scored are tied. There's apretty strong chance of that happening I would have thought, given that most teams now probably have at least 6 or 7 of the most popular picks in them. Can't be decided on alphabetical order, surely. I assume that KCs will come into play if points and goals scored are equal, then Clean Sheets, then Yellow/red cards? Taking into account overall league position seems reasonable to me if all other factors are equal.

I have one of my three teams (HereWeGoAgainAgain) through but as I've used up all my transfers I don't hold out much hope, even though I beat the top team (FIRESTROM) in the last match. I can't see who I'm playing next though, how did you find out who you're playing?

There is a link just above the league table (not in the tabs but in the text stuff)
I had to be told as I couldn't find it either!

My worst week in ages - I think it was a sensible decision from the TFF gods to have a week off before the knockout stage! :)

Hmmm not good, just looked at this I see one game to go....... Out of 5 teams I only have 1 through (18 transfers remaining) and 1 team in 3rd that could still get caught with (19 remaining)

I wish I had 18 transfers remaining. I have three teams and, as usual, I've used up all my transfers in all three teams! OK I used a few to get extra points over weekend fixtures to help me move up the Super 20s leagues but although one team made it through I'm going to struggle to get anywhere as I have one player injured (Leon Osman) and others likely to get injured. Still, at least my faith in the Stracq (Denis Stracqualursi) is starting to pay off! :) For the record that one team that made it through (HereWeGoAgainAgain - 3-5-2) is: Vorm, Baines, Walker, Richards, Nani, Silva, Bale, Osman, Mata, Rooney, Stracqualursi. I just wish I'd started with that team. The only player left from my starting XI is Leighton Baines
