Got rid of shawcross, jones and sturridge. Stoke not as good in defence this season and can see them struggling with the amount of games they have this window. Jones out longer than first thought and sturridge playing out of position.

About time vermaelen has a good window and cahill should get plenty of playing time at chelsea now. I fancy Cisse to outscore or at least equal ba's impact at newcastle.

I climbed up to 16th

Was manager of the month in our mini league for February

I'm dropping like a stone.

Lessons learnt so far:
(1) don't hang on to an expensive donkey for too long - if he looks lame put him out to pasture ASAP (FFL)
(2) scour twitter and other sources for injury rumours before making transfers (brought Vermaelen in as he lay on the surgeon's table)
(3) if anyone ever mentions "Arsenal" and "easy run of fixtures" take absolutely no notice of them. (However, if Dot ever suggests that Arsenal have an easy run of fixtures this would be cause to reconsider.)

Thoroughly enjoying my first season with the Elite. It's certainly a good training ground.
