What is that based on Mike? If the stories we're hearing from all sources are true then its now just about the price surely?

Its as much to do with Barca elections as us, Barca as far as know have just about spent all money of there own today on Villa, to buy Cesc they will need outside finance and in Spain at mo not easy. We would want at least £40 mil made up either in cash or part player and as said do think its a given that he will go at a much lower price with patience.
The fly in the ointment is the election as 2 of those involved are not best of friends :D and that could be bad news for us, but think its an outside chance but that could change

As a MU fan I've no agenda but its the defense he'll surely strengthen as a priority?

Hangeland & Jagielka, a goalkeeper? Not over blessed with obvious choices here, Gordon?

Even without Fab, your strong, Rosicky has the class but not the engine, maybe Nasri is more likely?

Sounds like you've already got Chamak (cant be arsed to look up the right spelling) to partner the classy RVP but Bendtner isn't a great cover option, Santa Cruz would push the other 2 more?

He'd need arms like an ape. It's a long reach from the treatment table to the pitch.

Young, every day of the week. I'd bite their hands off for a £20m offer for Young

Chamakh for Arsenal. I've warned you all before, get those artistic scoring cards out, this guy will put Klinsman to shame

City seem to be revving up for a big summer. Apparently "in talks" for Jerome Boateng, Dzeko, Higuain and Gago. If they get that little lot plus Milner and Arteta the Europa League won't know what's hit it

Two confirmed signings before June? What on earth? Mr kenwright is really spoiling us! (without actually spending a penny)

Don't be knocking Pennant just yet, Liverpool might just go grovelling back for players like him in the current circumstances! I hear Rafa thinks he could be the man to supply Ngog and Pacheco next season.

I presume you mean "big time" as in terms of the Premier League as he's actually moved to a smaller club

Yeah right, you guys can only dream of being described as a "two bob club"!

p.s Cheers for 'allowing' Luke Garbutt to join us last summer to.....

I like Cole, but I don't see him moving to Arsenal. I think a move to Spurs is much more likely. Would like to see him on the right wing though. Nasri on the left, van Persie in the middle... delish.

Best news of the Summer so far....The Chief is coming home!

* Lucas Radebe could soon make a return to Leeds United, as a coach.

MOT

:D :D :D

EDIT: Looks like Grayson has quashed any chance of it happening. Shame :(

You gotta love the timing, especially when he uses this line...

“There has been a lot of speculation about me in the British and Spanish media, and I need to fully concentrate on playing for Spain in the World Cup."

Rumour that Arsenal may be trying to sign Suarez from Ajax after the World Cup.
Van Persie, Bendter and Arshavin can rest easy though, Suarez may be replacing Manuel Almunia.

Jeremy Beadle had safer hands than Almunia

A few rumours today

Sneidjer  Man Utd £35M (unlikely, IMHO)
Joe Cole  Liverpool (free) - not sure how he'd fit in :? not a player I rate very highly & a bit of a sicknote too. Others rave about him, I suspect he will be reminiscent of Harry Kewell.
Mark Schwarzer  Arsenal £3.5M
Edoardo  Arsenal £3.5M I'd be surprised if they sign 2 GK's
Hugo Rodallega  Villa - the end for Heskey ???
N'Zogbia  Birmingham £15M
Andre Ayew  B'ham £5.5M did OK for Ghana, typical signing off the back of a World Cup though
Sami Khedira  Chelsea £12M
Deco  Fluminense (Brazil)
Glen Johnson  Inter Milan
Maynor Figueroa  Liverpool (maybe if Johnson goes to Inter)
Joe Ledley  Stoke (£2M + Michael Tonge) seems a bit cheap :?
Ilan  Stoke (Free) he did OK at West Ham with limited playing time.
Matthew Upson  Sunderland £7M
Jermaine Pennant  Wigan

& Torres to Chelsea for a cool £50M

If Liverpool sign Figueroa,it will be to replace Insua, whom Rafa is said to want as well as GJ to replace Maicon, who's off to R.Madrid

Figueroa is a RB, Insua a LB

& Maicon & GJ are also RB's so why would Insua be replacing Maicon
