The F.A are reviewing the matter

This could be quite a ban for Suarez once they have finished with him.

Any idea when the potential ban would start

maybe ditching Suarez for January would be wisest

Rooney appeals against two-match ban for swearing - CNN.com

That was into a camera audibly.

On the basis of what??

Can Liverpool then appeal against the forearm smash into Suarez face from Hangeland resulting in him going down in the area and not getting a penalty- and then appeal against the perfectly good goal Suarez scored but was wrongly given offside.

how long is a piece of string.

Jealously is a horrible trait- it mellows with maturity...

He wont be around much longer after being hounded out of the premier league anyway.

Of course he's never been fouled in his playing career

Nice to see Wayne get a straight red reduced to appease the sponsers now thats a can of worms.
Every straight red getting contested.

Not jealousy, just annoyance at his petulance. Why Kenny things he needs to be protected is beyond me

Agree about Rooney though, how and why that ban has been reduced I have no idea.

I think this will turn into a problem for those that have him, but I doubt a straight answer will be given before the TW shuts - which will make the decision to take him out even harder

Well sometimes  (could not resist)

Do hope you are wrong about him being driven out, though some of his theatricals does annoy, he is a terrific player and in my view one of the few imports that actually likes way games are contested in prem. Do hope Kenny can have few words as it would (again my view) be loss to prem if he went.

Gonna be a big decision on whether to keep him or not, I think I'll hold onto him, if he gets dropped by enough people and then doesnt get a ban it could be a big advantage, either way it should break up alot of those Suarez, Aguero, RVP front 3's

The deadline was yesterday but Liverpool have been given more time to prepare their response. Not sure how long they have got or when it will be decided.

Which means they'll probably decide right after the window shuts screwing us all over :( Proving a major dilemma as I already have my 3 transfers planned and if i have to remove Suarez I'll have to keep Dempsey and I really dont like the look of Fulhams fixtures

I still think this will be the case unfortunately, so will be a big gamble to keep him.

FS Record: Dreamteam Mini Leagues also ran :(
I'm almost certain we won't know outcome for Suarez on both charges before Tw3. Telegraph today state case likely to be heard in week ending 31st dec as fa shuts on 23rd dec. the 2 cases will be heard separately.

Makes for a rather interesting gamble at the window....

Suarez race case verdict will be out by the end of this week, I have a feeling nothing will come of that, which leaves just the middle finger situation and what possible ban he could get for that

If its only a 2 gamer then surely he has to be kept in the team???!

I wouldn't bet on it.

No timescales have been issued and there are only rumours that the hearing even started today!

Yes, I believe it has started (although neither the FA or Liverpool have confirmed) but with all the witnesses and complexities etc it may not be over by friday or at least no verdict/sentence by then.

Whilst I can't say i fully agree with the argument "Negrito" does have a different meaning in Uruguay

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011 ... trice-evra

Of course he wasn't in Uruguay when he was using the word and i doubt it was used in a friendly way

If Suarez does get a ban and you need to swap him out could sturridge be a good call ?
Drogs is off to Africa Nations and rumours Torres is out come Jan transfer window along with Anelka. Mmmm.

I'd say Sturridge is looking like a good bet regardless - he's scoring well with Drogs & Torres in the squad at the moment
