Thanks. I seem to have jinxed a fair few players in week 1. Gyan, Etherington, Vidic.

Palacios flat out sucks. I'd rather start a big bag of mashed up a-holes than him.

I don't see him doing a thing FPL-wise.

It's his default setting, you only hear if he's fit.

What do you think Stoke's first choice back four is now?
Huth was sub last game, is he not likely to start many games at moment?

I'm curious as well, wanting to bring in Wilkinson, but unsure how long this string of starts is going to continue for him.

Would love a Stoke fans insight on this. Tempted to pull the trigger and just risk it.

STOKE CITY have been dealt a double blow to their hopes of making it five wins in a row in the Barclays Premier League.

The Potters will definitely be without captain Ryan Shawcross for Wednesday evening's visit to Manchester City.

Shawcross will serve a one match suspension after he picked up his fifth booking in the local derby win over Wolves.

It is also likely that Republic of Ireland international Glenn Whelan will be absent with a damaged calf muscle

FS Record: Won TSO £10 comp 2008, retained title in 2009. FPL: 96th, 19th.
Am thinking of bringing Shawcross into my FPL team, but slightly worried taht the total physical commitment required to pay the Stoke way may make them vulnerable form now on given they don't have much to play for, and they may even start trying to get fancy (especially against the smaller teams).

Any informed Stokies care to hazard any thoughts - have they slackened off at all in past seasons once safe from relegation but unlikley to qualify for Europe?

TONY PULIS has confirmed that Denmark international Thomas Sorensen will feature in Stoke City's final two matches of the Premier League programme.

Sorensen will take over from Asmir Begovic for Sunday's visit to Queens Park Rangers and then the closing game of the 2011-12 campaign against Bolton Wanderers.

Ironically, Sorensen was recalled to the Premier League line-up earlier this season when QPR visited the Britannia Stadium and had a three month spell in the side.

"Thomas will not just be representing Denmark in the summer, he'll be representing Stoke City as well, so it's important that we do all we can to help him prepare for the Euros," commented City's manager in looking ahead to the weekend trip to Loftus Road.
