I was thinking of putting Steed in this week. At 6.3, home against Wigan and Star Man last night, is that enough to warrant a transfer?

I think this guy might actually be worth a shout he seems to be playing more direct football of late and I can see some assists coming his way. If I had an disposable midfielders I would give him a shout...

No, not steed malbranque.Never ever steed malbranque. Ok, he only has 2 goals, an assist and 5 BP this season, but 2 goals and 3 BP came against derby. Its derby! He then went 8 games without doing anytihng. There are much better players for his cost.

Ok, some would say "wel, you never know what could happen in the next few games against weak opponents". Well that's exactly my point: no-one even knows if he's got a remote chance of getting any good points

FYI, I have a chip on my shoulder regarding Malbranque (I subbed him out the week that he got 16 points..sigh...this wound still cuts deep...boohooohoohoo)

sorry if I came off really obnoxious, but I wanted to save you from (the very likely) disappointment!

looked good in pre-season, was one of many risks I took at the beginning of the season (might have paid off if Spurs had played well). Took him out the week before he got all those points, so badly stung.

I have been a member of the "Spurs Midfield Shambles" club for some time now but Malbranque has actually impressed me in the past 2 or 3 games, he seems to have pulled his socks up, but we all know how socks can stink after a while...
