OK ive had Sky for years but thought this summer I would look into alternatives....looks like the best deal is to go for one of the overseas for an absolute Sports fest !!!!

My plan is to keep Sky....drop the package to basic..then buy a Sports card for th season with a new dish and box to take advantage of the Greek Nova deal (they have the Premier League rights for the next 3 years)...

how much do these cost then? If anyone knows, I would be interested to hear.

Im doing a bit of research and will post up some comparisons..as an example, you could have got he last 6 months of this season for around £60 !! not bad....The Greek one is seen as the best Sports package in the world but more pricey..im leaving it until the summer to decide (as they only take on the footie from next season)

sky sports is about £15 a month isnt it? So you drop this and buy another sports channel then, one question - could you live without Geoff on soccer saturday though? Soccer AM?

I was more interested in the fact that they are (apparently) allowed to screen 3pm saturday games as they are out of country...apparently the big 2 for footie next season will be the Greek one and Albanian !!

The big one this year was part of Al Jazeera..

yeah I have watched a few games on the t'internet this year but the quality is pretty poor
