Completely disagree. Silva was poor. Yes he scored a good goal but he got 5 points for that goal. There is no reason for him to get given a 7 rating let alone an 8. Poor from the sun.

Enrique's mark was harsh; all the rest are spot on (if not a little generous)!
Liverpool were woefully poor on Saturday.

That's not how it works though is it.
Silva, even on a bad day is always eye-catching. He will get 7+ virtually every game.

It doesnt matter how poor they were in your opinion or anyone elses.

The fact of the matter is they created more than swansea and likewise Norwich and in both cases the MOTM was the opposing keeper for both doing some wondrous saves with a couple of flukey ones thrown in..
But they doesnt justify giving the opposition such generous marks when they were not the better team.

dont start me on PHIL THOMAS i proved this point the other season with a continuation of marks in this vein..
His anti Liverpool stance is nearly as bad as Pat Sheehans pro Spurs stance.

both chap!

It is supposed to work like that. Just because a player scores it doesnt mean he should rate 7+. It happens many times when a player scores and gets a 6. On this occassion Silva getting an 8 was a clanger by the journalist concerned.

If you take into account that Liverpool were at home and expected to do a lot better. Where Swansea exceeded expectations then the ratings would seem fair.
I don't think you can not take those variables into account when giving out ratings.

Liverpool were the better side, but not by that much. :o

em9999, I support Arsenal but you are in dream land.

Man City and Man Utd are 11 and 7 points clear of us

Newcastle 6 points and Spurs 6 points if and when they win their game in hand.

Chelsea three points clear and will need to lose for us to overtake them.

How are Arsenal going to make the top four in four games?

He made a few errors in the first half. I'd give it O'Hara for having more of an impact on the result.
