Here is a challenge to everyone on Fiso to see how your ratings compare to The Sun's reporter.

The challenge is as follows:

Everyone who is interested must rate the players and nominate a starman in the below match:

These ratings then need to be pm to me and once ratings are declared by SDT, I will post the ratings received and see how close people were.

Or would people prefer Villa vs Utd on Saturday afternoon?

So is the aim to try and give a fair rating i.e one that is closest to the average rating. Or to try and guess as close as we can to the sun's ratings, which could be completely in contradiction to our own opinion. E.g i thnk Johnson was worth a 7 but i think the sun will only give him a 6.

To see how we compare to each other and the reporter.

This way we will see if reporter is out or if your ratings are out.

I will do an average for each player, once I have all ratings.

The only flaw in your proposition is that you have to watch the game. it's becoming apparent that the reporters do not watch the matches before doing the ratings.

I won't watch the game as I'll be working but I'll give my ratings based on MOTD2

Well I'm going to the game so can judge in the flesh but I can predict with some confidence that no Villa player will get a 7 in this game (except poss Given)

I'll have it on the radio and might catch the 2nd half. The opposite way round to what The Sun sometimes do I'll pass as it is a game of two halves but would be interested if you do it again Ashers.

Shouldn't we all pick a match, then post our ratings now, then not even watch the match to see how everyone actually performed?
It's only fair as that is what some of the Sun reporters must do. Makes it all fair all round that way. A level playing field

P.S On a completely unrelated topic, does anyone know of a good random number generator on the internet? A journalist friend of mine, who just happens to have been asked to write up a game tomorrow asked me if I knew of one. Apparently he just lost all his 10 sided dice.

I wont get to watch united game but have watched Chelsea at Newcastle. 5mins to go a and for me Krul just shades Mata for starman maybe 9 plays 8? Anyone else would be another very poor showing from sun journo

Sturridge has been lively but wasteful. Terry solid, so 7's there. Lamps a 5, Drogba a 6, Luiz a 5.

saw most of the villa game, waddle was singing the praises of utd although i thought they were pretty ineffective. Villa were awful wouldn't have scored one over a 6. Rooney, vidic and jones 7's thats about it. star man jones I would think.
