FS Record: 1 x Sky M.O.M. 25th OFL 06/07 Family&friends champ 6 years running.
Just gone through a link on Football 365 and at the bottom this is what it said about this coming seasons game.

The Sky Sports Fantasy Football game is back for the 2011/12 season, bigger and better than ever. Free to play, and with over £100,000 worth of cash prizes up for grabs, Sky Sports Fantasy Football is the premier online fantasy game.

Choose your team of Premier League stars and enter the main leaderboard with £1,500 weekly prizes. Plus you can enter private leagues, with the introduction this season of paid private leagues for those managers wanting to put their money where their mouth is!

There’s also an all new team selection interface, refer-a-friend incentives and breaking transfer news from the Sky Sports team. What more could a fantasy football player need? Enter your details above and we’ll let you know when the new fantasy football season kicks off.

Now does this mean it's going to be run by the same people as last seasons Metro game. I for 1 would be dissapointed as this is the game i use for our works league because of it's simplicity, the Metro game would probably to in depth for my works league. I may have to look for an alternative.

What makes you think that ? It would be a big surprise if OFL (i.e. Fantasy League Ltd) are no longer running it.
Last season, the Metro game was run by GFM who also produce TFF. Game organisers can change though each season

As you can sign up for an update on when the game launches using last season's user id (4 digit code), most unlikely they'll have changed game provider from last term, as that would have involved migrating all the user details to a new provider.

So the game of musical chairs continues,GFM having apparently lost out on running the METRO FF game this season, have instead won the contract to run the SKY SPORTS 2011/12 FF game at Fantasy League Ltd's expense !
