After Sky were told to reduce their charges for supplying channels and to make their HD channels available (at a cost) to cable operators it appears they are playing awkward.
In the run up to the new football season they have placed more live football on SS3 than I can ever remember. To sum up BT have only SS1 & 2 in their package and Virgin have just SS1 & 2 in HD.
So when Sky move the live footie to SS3 Virgin can not show it in HD and BT customers miss out completely.
The Emirates cup was on SS3 along with the weekends live championship games, and on Saturday the early kick off (Spurs v Citeh) is also on SS3, so tough luck BT subscribers.
I can imagine that BT have been promoting vigorously they now have live EPL games and at a very reasonable cost, I bet they hope Sky don't put too many games on SS3.
