Not sure I like the look of that too much - Vermaelen playing LB and Spurs beset by injuries...we shall see!

Adebayor or Sturridge must have been a touch choice for him. I'd have gone Sturridge personally.

maybe we need an Educating Edmo thread now

Well overdue.

Crazy season, when did fisoers actually challenge for the main places, thought it was all about dicking around with mini leagues.

Highest Tam got with 23,000 entries was joint 43,344th.

Good luck all. :D

Thanks Zimm

Well done to Nedved.

My best team now is 1038 Dots Lions 2 which was my second best team at previous window.

Now that Ed is leading i'd be more than happy if Zimm has the time to start a new thread Silencing ED.

i know we Know his transfers but i doubt anyone would of taken Rooney out, especially as he was one of only two people in the current 100 to do so.

Down to You Zimm.

Well, the move could be a disaster if Rooney goes on one of his scoring streaks, or inspired if Adebayor bags a couple of hat-tricks during the window, and Rooney has a quiet spell.

Big gamble, but one which may look great in a couple of months time.

In my leading list (149th overall) I replaced Kompany with Vermaelen, Ba with Sturridge & Shawcross with Walker.

Put Vermaelen in (like Edmo) on the basis that Arsenal have a very kind fixture list, they are tightening up at the back (despite injuries) and TV gets a 7 rating from the Sun, even if he isn't playing. Was disappointed at having to replace Ba, as I saw him as a good differentiator from the rest of the pack. Time will tell.

I think Rooney is going to go on a scoring run, got a few the other day, keeps creating chances for himself and has some easy matches coming up.

I expect he has gone with Adebayor cos not many will have him.

VP, Adebayor, Sturridge, and Aguero are all consistently scoring. Rooney will join that list starting from Monday.

Out of interest do you guys in syndicates let the person who created the team make the transfer decisions on that team or is it a joint thing, I could only imagine that causing arguments.
