So after 4 transfers so far my mid is looking like this:

Young
Nasri
SWP
Murphy
Toure

I took a def out last week for SWP in order to fund either a Mata or Silva move or both and am happy with the rest of my team.

So thoughts are:

Toure -> Mata - Bit risky but he looks good and not many have coverage and Toure just isn't the points scorer of last year so vaguely sensible I feel. Do this on Sun for the 2-1.

Murphy -> Silva - So so tempting and leaves me with a stellar mid but I'm then bang on the 50m mark and that worries me a lot.

Or just:

Toure - Silva - Maybe the obvious but pains me to swap same team players. And every b*gger has got Silva by now but is he a must have (looks like it)?

Would then be 5 or 6 subs down and left with a rather tasty looking (imo):

Young
Nasri
SWP
Mata
Silva

Thoughts oh wise fiso-heads.
Am I mad, especially before an int break?
Just do the Mata and wait on Silva or vice-versa?
Go for it and pray?
Or SAFTK!

Apologies, thought it would be ok in the main forum.

I'm discussing changes not asking for the team to be rated?!?!?

You can't have everyone* and Murphy is a good value pick.

Toure  Silva and still have some cash in your back pocket for whoever breaks in the international break??

* = Ok, you can, for now, in midfield but is it worth it???

Thanks Murf, wise, calming words as ever.

It is oh so tempting but being stuck with no spare change if I did both is a big worry if, for example, Aguero breaks as no room to maneouvere up to an RVP or suchlike. And of course saves me a sub so early in the season.

Choices, choices...

As you mentioned, plenty of people probably have/will have silva. But it won't just be fantasy players that have become wise to him. I can see silva being a 'seriously marked man' from now on. I remember a fairly similar situation with messi during the world cup - he was used as a distraction whilst others in the team flourished... maybe something to think about? Having said that yaya isnt attacking enough and de jong could take his place.
