Interestingly, the gap from Tams top league to a non Tam league has never been smaller.

Good luck to everyone, with so many options seemingly available and injuries or doubts over players that looked a 'must have' a couple of weeks ago, TW2 is going to be very very interesting :D

It's refreshing to see so many others challenging the Tam dynasty. I did think they would romp it and they still have the mathematicfal advantage but it's good to be at least involved, Mad Dog picked a very solid league and I'm happy to be part of it!!

Crucial TW this one, some real hard decisions to be made. Good luck everyone.

Here's my prediction - Tam won't win it, not saying I will, but I don't think he will, some good leagues there, mine, kojac is pretty good too, the top mini league has K jones and palyvenchenko - its not going to win owt with those two in it...

I don't think anybody is in with a better shout than your league Dan. Kim Jong Tam will be forced into decisions (shall I shan't I keep Jones and Pav  ). BBM will have too many opinions causing a last minute panic...but they do have Ashers with his inspired picks... pretty sure he recommended sticking Nolan as a core player in your league Dan  (what a helpful chap).

As Ronny says, interesting times

Any one know who the Dark horse has in his team ................Mr Bob Dylan fan.
On his way up, maybe when he overtakes the Chinese lot he can shout " The Tams they are a changing"

good luck to ronny & the bbm, dan & miles (ripping through like a runaway train at the moment! 8-) ) and graham (sp) who's been up there all season - you've got a hell of a chance and all the best to you all. :)

as i've stated on an earlier thread a week or so ago - tam is under severe pressure now and it's increasing with every single match that passes - the banker that was the seasonal mini-league prize is in serious trouble and the chasing pack have got him in their sights and I would bet have better transfer options available to them @ this transfer window.

anyway - just my thoughts - very best of luck to you all (including the chasing pack who are chasing the chasing pack! :P )

Tam still has just over half the top 50. So you could say:

1) It's 50/50 whether he wins the £100k?

2) He has much better than 50/50 chance as he can cover various bases, his 50% is more co-ordinated than the other 50%.

3) By covering bases he dilutes his best leagues and therefore by TW3 when there is a breakaway group of 10 or 20 leagues that look unlikely to be caught, his share is down to 25%-40%.

There really are just so many options, injuries and uncertainties, that I'd say the top 100 would all have a chance if they landed the right transfers.

Such a massive prize to play for as well, let's hope nobody invalidates a league with a slip of a finger doing their transfers

Good luck everyone. :)

I have a league (the mighty JRON) which is a good 130 odd points behind. However, seeing the transfers I am about to make, I have every confidence I can make up those points

JRON, you heard it here first

I like the name Ronny. Remember seeing it up there earlier in the season, and did spot it creeping back in the top 100.

JRON v Kojak down the back straight...... 8-)

CHEZZ have fought back well over the last few weeks. Is there enough gas in the tank though? Did we leave too much ground to make up?

Like you say, will all be on Zimm's aggressive transfers....P Konchesky (N/A) M Kelly

BBM are done and dusted, decisions made after weeks of discussions and a 10 hour debate today. Think we have found a winner though

Better hope Daglish dosn't want to use Carragher at full back then  .

Actually done a couple of those myself too

Ours are all done too, didn't bother with the 30 player rule this time, none of our leagues are going to win the overall. They are mush tighter now though so hopefully more chance of a weekly.

I would love to know how BBM manage to sort out transfer with that many people involved, respect to those with a lot of members must be a nightmare.

good luck all.

its all about ideas, discussions, polls, comparisons etc etc.

Majority rules Rick

Its good fun though :D

I predict, if our defence performs respectably in Kojak, we will win.

In fact, sod it, I will go out on a limb and say we will go top on Monday

Diggers is in the mix also but may take a couple of weeks to catch up

You wont see JRON till FA cup final day 8-) (thats my own ittle baby :!: )

I have OD'ed on Dreamteam I think

CHEZZ all in as well. Exhausted, the finger cramps are back. League 44 has been freshened up, and watch out number 40, could have a little run over the next few weeks.

All teams looking in tip top fashion for a huge WDT entry next week

Been up since 4.30 sorting transfers.... really not healthy this DT lark :|

Still, the next few weeks will decide whether it was worth it. I was inspired by the Pavlyuchenko / Jones combo up front  - if some chap can stick those players in and do well then anything is possible!!!

How rude

You should get yourself an AutoBot. If we get all the autobots together we can destroy those decepticons in the MegaTam brigade.

It'll be an interesting battle to see which league emerges as optimus prime. :P

Yes doc - a storming post TW2 for Diggers - looking very, VERY good for the BBM!

Notice you've been creeping up quietly on the rails too baiju with your sami league! 8-) :D

Couldn't do much worse than our Dr. Kongo league last year though could we!!
It was a shame really.........great name.....just an eff shit league!!

Aah, the Dr Kongo league...a league that came together in 5 mins :D , think I'll resurrect that league next year

Yeah Michael, Sami (my wife's league  ) has been on the upwards rise but so have a lot of leagues...guess we're taking the places of the Tam leagues as they fall 8-) I think we'll still see a lot of leagues come in from behind..maybe even flat earth & cosmos 8-)

However I don't think we'll catch up with BBM's diggers league...too far away & they're raking in the points. Looks like they've got their transfers spot on.
