No idea what inspired the Westwood captaincy gambit, kind of looks inspired at this stage - I might even climb a place or two

(Un)Fortunately, depending on your point of view, most of the top 10 seem to have Furyk & or Harrington as their Gp1 & 2 selections. There are a few Mickelson Captains (one with Westwood - Kangaroot bunkers, currently 5th) and some Woods coverage too. So there is definitely potential for a team like mine to charge up the table into the top 10 eg El_Pappje's 2nd placed teams 800+ point lead on me would be all but wiped out with a Westwood (c) win (800 points) alone.

Admin too, is looking strong IF Woods (C) & Kim both finish well today. El_Papp is also reliant on Kim & needs a miracle from Goosen (c) to keep his lead in the FISO League. Blessed Brian & mark fantasy ? are in a world of trouble with the popular Harrington / Furyk combo. Man U's #1 Fan is set to race up the boards with Mickelson (C) & Westwood in his team - a Mickelson win & Westwood slide could see him go top of the FISO League in one fell swoop...

Have Westwood & Woods but unfortunatley for me had Casey as captain.

As always after a major the quality the following week is a bit thin on the ground.

The good news is that it's still possible to have 7 active players this week.

I expect to hear news that Casey and/or Poulter will withdraw.

Poulter isn't listed in the betting for the Verizon.

Definately used up all my luck on this game last year, I'm doing great at bringing in players that withdraw this year.

polarbear, is there a good site for finding entry lists for coming european tour competitions. I can't find the information any more on europeantour.com, especially not further away than the actual tournament ?

Entry lists have been harder to find since the European Tour changed the look of their site.

To find the entry list for future events you just have to play around with the last digit(s) in the link.
Changing the zero to four for example gives you the entry list for the Italian open which doesn't take place till May.

Be aware that these lists will change between now and the start date with lots of additions and withdrawals.
