The usual lack of quality players after a major :(

The good news is that it's still possible to muster 5/8 :)

Table edited to update numerous errors

You're doing a grand job polarbear, keep it up!

Nice to throw in a few curve balls now and again, just to keep us on our toes :P

Anyone know how it will work next week with the Johnny Walker and the Barkley...with the Johnny supposedly getting 50% more for that tournament...but even for any players in the Barkley???...and we should get three picks as well

According to the web site we get 3 transfers next week, but the 50% bonus is only for players involved in the Johnnie Walker.

Firstly, apologies for last weeks rush job.

Looking back however, it looks like no harm done. :)

Now to this week, it looks like we have some interesting choices to make.

We get 3 transfers, but the 50% bonus only applies to golfers playing in the Johnnie Walker Championship. :?

A 4/4 split is the best available assuming you want to gamble on the inconsistent Ross Fisher.

50% bonus for European players chasing a 12th hour Ryder Cup spot in Scotland against 0% bonus for the top 125 on the PGA Tour in The Barclays

At least Jimenez is making the effort to qualify for the team :)

now wouldnt that be something PA  I can't see lightening striking twice, besides theres a new Geo(Je)ff in town this year :)

Finally took up my prize for last year in July, and had a great time at Gleneagles. I think I will aim for the overall runner up prize so I can go back again

Just a reminder that the Ryder Cup league ends after these tournaments, with some rather nice tickets to the Ryder Cup up for grabs!

Good luck to those in contention

Quote:
Ryder Cup League

The top scoring individual player between the WGC and The Johnnie Walker Championship (inclusive) will win four season tickets to the 2010 Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor in Wales. Tickets include access to the venue and the International Pavilion from Thursday 30 September to Sunday 3 October (incorporating the final practice day and the three tournament days).

The ticket winner will be declared after the conclusion of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles - the tournament where Ryder Cup team captain Colin Montgomerie finalises his European team.

Please note Furyk is out this week, as per Injuries/WD thread.

Bit of a bummer seeing he is my Group 2 pick in all these SM games.

We enter the second round of the Fedex Playoffs this week, so we have a strong field for the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Ross McGowan is still listed to play over in Switzerland, but after withdrawing at Gleneagles with a wrist problem, look out for him giving the Omega European Masters a miss.

A couple of months back I was down in around 2500 postion but have managed to claw my way back now to 42nd, probably too far behind to reach the top, especially given the absolutely ridiculous eight transfers allowed this week.
