Welcome to Fiso Norton. It would have been nice of you to introduce yourself first instead of posting a "where's the password" message, still there are worst sorts around here as you'll find out if you stick around.

You will find the weekly Activation Code on the Password thread tomorrow.

Sorry for upsetting you pa102aw.... I was just eager to get my 8 transfers(which i missed anyway due to work committments  ).......

I am Norton Folgate from just outside Oban i am 40 play off 9.3 and been a keen FG player for about 4 years now..... Found this site to be a great help in terms of finding who's playing week in week out.... Keep up the good work.....N_F :D

I completely forgot to have a look at my team yesterday so thought I had wasted a load of my transfers. However, just been onto the site and there was no password required and I was able to use my remaining three changes.

Only 4 active in the US this week, but a decent showing at Loch Lomond.

Els said in the media that he would give the Scottish Open a miss, but it looks like he changed his mind as he's still listed to play, albeit as a sponsors invite. :?

At last it's time for the Open.

50% bonus points as with all majors.

We have a seperate thread for the weekly password.

Once you've got your transfers sorted, come back and introduce yourself to the other Fisoer's. :)

Norton, your 9th place has earned you a pair of tickets to the Senior Open at Carnoustie.

Not the best of prizes, but if you want the tickets you just need to give the Scotsman a call to claim them.

Well done on your 9th place BTW. :)

Hi All,

I came 7th this week (Man United's #2 Fan) guess I have won tickets to the Senior's Open too :D

Now how long does it take to Carnoustie from Winchester :? 8 hours 41 mins :!: Anyone fancy going?

PM me and I will consider all deserving applicants.

Anyone have The Scotsman's phone number / details of whom I need to speak to?

Cheers Colin

Man United's #2 Fan

It's a typical 'after a major' week with just 17 players active in Canada and Sweden.

3rd Season on the YEP one and 1st season on the Yorkshire post one.
Missed the start on the Scotsman but will be there next season.

Seasoned veteran on various Fantasy football site as well as running some work based ones

I have been a silent user of FISO for a while and thought it was time I stuck my head above the parapets

(** ducks while various shots are fired ****)

I find the banter and information refreshing on here

Yes, FISO'ers are a lot more respectable to each other on these forums, (with the few exceptions  )

Probably got something to do with the fact that we meet up occasionally.

If you play golf rubik, it may be worth your time joining the golf society on onother part of Fiso.

I will take a look when I get a second.
I do play, but not as much as I would like and my son is just taking his first tentative steps but even at 11yrs old he is starting to give me a run for my money (thank god for adult sized driving)

A bit more activity compared to last week, but a lot of the top golfers are still on holiday after the Open.

Anthony Kim makes his long awaited comeback this week at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

This gives us 100% active golfers in groups 1 - 6

Well played Rob and his Big Birdies, top score in the weekly :D

Quote:
This week’s top scorer will secure two places in a pro-am team at the Scottish Senior Open around The Torrance Course at Fairmont, St Andrews. Runners up will claim a pair of season tickets to the event. With legends such as Sam Torrance and Ian Woosnam set to take part, it should be a great tournament.

Ace prize!

I hope Rob's a big hitter, I played the Torrance course on Sunday, it's quite forgiving off the yellow tees but the pro tees are about 50 -70 yards further back!

The course was in great condition, all but 1 of the greens were in superb shape. Some of the bunkers were 10ft deep!

I came joint 7th this week and thus, I believe, get a pair of season tickets to the Scottish Senior Open. It is quite likely that I won't use these, as a) the prospect doesn't thrill me that much b) I might be away with work

Absolutely no guarantees at this stage, but if you think you can make use of them, PM me and I'll come up with some fair way of deciding who gets them (free of charge). They are season tickets, valid for all days, so please indicate which days you would be likely to use them. It's only fair that those who can make greater use of them get priority over those who might be able to show up for an hour on one day!

I'll try to let the successful bidder (if there is one) know as soon as possible, say by midnight Thursday 12th August.

If you haven't heard back at that point, I'd assume you're not getting my tickets

I'm actually tempted to tinker with players in the other groups, and only field seven this week, instead of jumping on this 400-1 bandwagon!
