Not necessarily a burnt transfer if you were unlucky enough to have him last week! LOL

That's just good forward planning. :)

Got 8 this week with 1 transfer to carry over. My forward planning is clearly brilliant. Just a pity my current week planning is useless!
Worst player in each group ;0)

Good showing this week.

We should all have no problems fielding a full set. :)

Unless of course, you have Harrington, Garcia, Casey and Schwartzel in your team.

Anyone know if there is a prize for 3rd in the monthly league?

Prize page just says 'The top individual teams each month will claim prizes - details tbc' but not sure where to look!

Cheers,
Chris.

Pa, I assume it's the same claim number for the weekly prizes (0131 620 8400), and that it's 3pm today, despite the Bank hol?

I'll ask them about the monthly prize while I'm on Chris

Thanks Shaun - not sure how the Scotsman will feel awarding 'Forever England' any prizes, but I guess we'll see.

I'll have you know that my tasteful "orange one" is indeed a Callaway, and the instant I put the phone down I regretted not asking about the colour :?

What's the odds huh?

Just the 16 starters this week - not bad considering we're just 10 days away from the US Open.

Best of luck to Chris and Colin (7th and 8th overall) over the next two weeks, nice little golf hol to PGA Catalunya for the leader after the US Open :)

Good to see you mixed up your captains, as the leader was bound to pick Westwood.

Gutted you went for Allenby, Chris

Being a country mile back in 39th place I thought I'd be a little creative and captain Coltart in Group 8.......joint 4th at the moment :D

A cunning plan indeed, totally ruined by Westwood doing so well in the US

Biggest week of the season so far is upon us! :D

3 transfers this week and a 50% points bonus.

Yup - thanks to Robery Allenby and his man-flu, I think my chances have all but vanished. :(

Not sure whether to go for it or just save my transfers up with a view to the next part of the season - I fear the leaders have too much of a lead and most of the bases covered....

Will have to get the calculator out and see if I can come up with some masterplan! 8-)

Well done but unlucky on your third place Foreverengland. Top 2 had too much of a gap to close.

The US Open marks the end of the Spring league.

The current list of golfers will be tweaked soon, but here's the players currently scheduled to play this week.
Not a bad showing considering we have just come off the back of a major. :)

Thought I would be able to entirely reset my team, but just have the usual two weekly subs :? Exactly the same happens with Yorkshire Evening Post for those of you that play that game as well.

Guess the transfer situation might change later on as there are no new players available for selection either!

I received an Email from them in which it says:

With the conclusion of the spring league, players now have until midnight on Wednesday to reshape their team with unlimited transfers. We have even added some new, in-form players to the game for you to recruit to your team. :|

I have just Emailed them asking why this has not happened.

you've probably had the email from them confirming new players added.

of the new PGA tour players, only Rickie Fowler is playing in the US this week. Dustin Johnson and YE Yang aren't
Ross McGowan is playing in Germany. Rhys Davies isn't.

those are your modifications to the fields posted above

Thanks mate - was getting excited when Tiger made his move, but alas Allenby's mid-round withdrawl last week hit me hard - if I'd played it safe and copied the leaders by captaining Westwood I'd be hunting for my passport right now!

Regarding the new season, I have just managed to make the 2 transfers - I have emailed them too, but as it is SilentManager will probably not get a reply till after the deadline

Anyone having any better luck?

I didn't receive the mail re. unlimited transfers - not unhappy as I deliberately kept one back from last week - don't know if that was stupid or smart - time will tell!

Personally, I thought Hunter Mahan and Tim Clark were more likely to be brought in by The Scotsman.

A good showing in France this week with Ogivy, Scott and Cabrara making the trip over the pond.

8 transfers this week aparently (a week late  ) so it should be a high scoring week.

As always, an errors let me know.
