It looks like the Scotsman has revamped it's FG site in preparation for the new season.

Some interesting changes, some good some bad, (IMO) :)

On the down side it's still being run by SM and if one group of Scots golfers was bad enough they have now created 2 groups to include some of the up and coming players. Oddly enough they have moved out Laird into G8 but kept Gallagher in with the other Scots in G9. :? (maybe this will change before the official launch)

On the plus side there are more golfers to choose from and there are 10 groups now instead of 8.

Rules look much the same with only one big change - a disqualified golfer loses 50 points for 'breach of the rules'. Can't agree with this as some disqualifications are caused by other golfers and not really the fault of the individul player.

The game now seems to be split into 3 seasons with prizes for each part.

Anyway, no need for me to prattle on, you can see all this for yourselves at:

The YEP / YP sites don't appear to be up and running yet.

Another major change of course is the prizes - the Spring League winner seems to only get what last year's runner up got. Monthly prizes seem a little better but would have preferred a bigger pot to aim at. :(

We had a fair bit of success last year with the system I set up over the last couple of years, so why don't we give it another go.

I have created a Fiso Mini League and I will enter everyone who applies to join the League as long as they post their team on the Mini League thread.

All Fisoer's wishing to join the Mini League should declare their intent on this new thread.
