I will be putting up the Pick Quick scores for each gameweek here.

After about 5 gameweeks (might get extended to 10 if I get busy in the interim), I will be putting up ranked total scores.

Till then, let there be banter!

That's very impressive baganboy, especially as Macarroon sometimes made us wait until the next season to find out how we'd done  (only joking Macarroon, you did a great job in providing us with a lot of fun for so long :D )

Oh, I actually made a half decent pick last week. I knew Cole would come good in the end.

These regular updates must be inspiring me. :P

I got a bit lucky there as only Richt got a half-decent score. Thanks for the update.

Do you win by accumulating the points of your pick each week or whoever chooses the most top picks of the week over the season?

By accumulating the points each week. Over a given gameweek period.

Looking forward to the next update. 8-)

Bit of a punt this weekend but was late to the new thread. Cahill could be interesting though against a v. tired Spurs with some defensive problems. Could go either way.

Sorry guys, change of job, possible change of city, temporary chage of country....

Will post the overall scores when I get some time.... Hopefully in 3 weeks.

And of course thanks to hifromsriram to have been kind enough to run the GW Pick Quicks for the next three weeks.

That's a poor excuse, baganboy. Surely,if you'd explained to your new boss that it was impossible for you to move before next May,when the English football season's finished, because you have undertaken the heavy responsibility of running Pick Quick,he'd have fully understood, and allowed you to stay put until then in the circumstances ?!

Oh sorry Mr President, the rupee didn't drop until after my previous post I read your post again and saw what I'd missed  Congratulations ! 8-)

We now fully understand the demands you must face on your time. Presumably Mr hifromsriram is one of your Cabinet Ministers to whom you have delegated the responsibility for a few weeks, and we're all grateful to him for doing so.

Good picking DrB, especially since you were one of the last to pick this gameweek :)

Yeah, i was really surprised to see him available. Wouldn't have been my first choice (I didn't captain him in the main game :() but he'd have been up there.

I'm back. The matter of ... ahem... global importance  is taken care of. There might be a small break or two for the rest of the season, but none this long, I assure.

To hifromsriram, who very graciously accepted to host the Pick Quick in my absence, and allow himself to being the last picker.... thanks a lot!

Scores to follow, and an updated overall score too.

Scores for GW8 -

No massive score, the only ones to reach double figures were RichT, DrB and Abumies.
The curse of the first picker strikes Shaggy365

Scores for GW9:

Abumies proves that there is much more to this game than luck by being the highest scorer with the 21st pick! Congratulations are in order.
Drogba gets 2 points, unlucky Salgado with his first pick. I will do an analysis of the ideal pick number etc, when I get the time.

Scores for GW10:

The 21st pick seems to be the one to go for, as DrBunker gets a whopping 20 points with Nolan running amok on the Tyne-and-Wear derby. Here are the scores Doc, let's have a little song and dance now, what say you?

Scores for GW11:

As has been established now, the 21st pick is the one to make........ alas there were only 19 pickers this time, and the expected happened. No scores in the double figures. The most points (8 - Tevez) were scored by Colbert with the 18th pick. Is it comprehensively proven now that it's better to pick later than earlier? Why am i doing so badly in this game then, I pick last, don't I ?
