How does Michael Campbell keep making a living out of golf? You have to feel sorry for him. Does he have to get his card each year now?

I keep forgetting to bring E.Molinari into my TFG team. Had him for a while in my terrible FISO league team, but trying to protect my transfers a bit for TFG.

I thought Ooosty had missed cut written all over him this week. I don't mean that nastily, because I really hope he has found something in his game that kicks him on, and there is more to him then Ben Curtis or Todd Hamilton of years gone by.

At least I didn't leave Oosty on the bench for a second week. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.

I wonder if anyone did leave him out again.....

:D

KJ Choi appears to be playing a different course to everyone else

-5 today through 8. Even Oosty is 2 back having got 2 more birdies in his 1st 6 holes...

Kjeldsen and Rock looked good selections before the start of teh week - Rock +5 fr the day and Soren is +8 for the day.

MADNESS

Choi and Molinari omission from NCG may mean a change of leader in that comp :0(

After day 1 - my best teams look like this

Clark -4
Choi -4
Hanson ev
Hoffman -5
Barnes -3
Derksen -1

All sure to change!

Choi's form is a massive surprise to me - I thought his early season form had deserted him, and to see him putting like a cack-handed croquet player cast even more doubts:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMn-Q_HK ... re=related

However, it seems he's reverted to a normal putter with a thick-handled grip this week...

I'm glad I stuck with him in two of my Fantasy League Golf teams (little choice really) - even if he has just three-putted from eight feet!

He was the class pick for OFL at his price and NCG in bottom group................................8 weeks ago!

His form of late suggested he was more likely to MC than tear it apart as he has.

I imilarly have him in 2 of my top (Althoug they are not very high) ;0)

Peter Hanson top 5 would be very nice alongside Choi as 300-400 points to make up and too many good picks doing consistently well.

Thy are saying +1 for cut.

I am vry confiden that it will be +2 at least and probably +3

Your thoughts?

Watching the coverage of the last few holes, Choi would have been -12 if only he could putt!

Yes, I'd say +2 for the cut is likely...

+ still favourite - Karlsson struggling :0(

Just noticed George Coetzee - I think I may have had a round of golf with him about 4 years ago? He hit the ball out of this world andwas rubbish at chipping - great at putting.

May not have been him at all but the picture looks the same and the stats back it up (Level with Quiros on driving!)

I haven't seen much of the golf in Sweden (there's a couple of avid cycling fans in the office!), but I like the fact that golfers are scoring anything between three and nine on some of the par-fives...

Should make for some interesting viewing over the weekend!

Some fast greens and risk and reward par 5s mean it can be anything

Bourdy just had a treble bogey and will be struggling for the cut at plus 3 but there is a run of 3 par 5s in 4 holes where you can shoot 12 or 20!

Officially going to be a horrendous day - I dont think I have had a team looking as strong after 2 days so guaranteed only 12 points !!

How is everyone looking?

Clark -10
Choi -9
Hanson -4
Hoffman -4
Barnes -3
Derksen -6

Looking at the tee offs times today it seems that the front half of the field tee off as normal with the leaders going last, but at the same time the leaders tee off the guys at the back of the field also tee off, presumably starting on hole 10? Is this normal, I can't recall noticing it before?

Also, everyone going off in 3balls, having played yesterday as just twoballs?

:?
