Was buying a jacket online......

Went through the payment and all that and came to my usual online bank security thing when you type in your password.

Does anyone know what this is called?

When I came to that pop-up bank security thing and the amount came up in Chinese money alarm bells rang as the company said it was based in the UK on its website, I checked the websites contact details and there was no address or phone number so it looked pretty dodgy to me so I did not enter my password into the secure pay thing and simply close the webpage down.

But somehow I have received confirmation of my payment from the website, and checked my bank balance which has gone down so it looks like it could have gone through...

How can payment go through if I did not enter my security password?

Yeah I think so, not sure what its called.

I just phoned my bank....

They say I have to contact the company to get my money back (which does not even have an address or phone number) is clearly fraudulent seeing as I have just googled it and seen complaints + the currency was paid in chinese money + the company has no contact details. So there is no chance of me getting my money back from them.

The bank told me if nothing happens then I have to wait 30 days before claiming a refund.

Well the banks security failed, how did payment go through.....this is what happend....

The secure pay box came up....I typed in my password, I then noticed the total amount was in Chinese so I did not press enter, instead I clicked back to the previous page and it came up with 'error'. This should not have gone through.

I have just read on the internet that the bank should get the money back instantly, but they said I have to wait 30 days.
Bloody cheeky gits! I will double check this with some other sites and the bank will be getting another call if I can claim it back now.

Didn't realise you were such a geek Footy.

Is it lined with pictures of Jermaine Beckford on the inside?

Surprised the bank didn't cancel your card and organise a new one for you. If this is a scam site they now have your card details.

Not on that jacket, I have one jacket lined with several photos of him including one of him scoring against Liverpool last season.

Also guess who got FA Cup Budweiser player of the round in the last round.....yes Beckford.

I must get a photo of him with his award stitched into my jacket, he probably got a crate of budweiser. Legend.

Yep I would get them changed to be on the safe side.

I think it will be ok. Even if they have my account details they would only be able to potentially access my current account which usually has sweet FA in it. All my real dosh is in my savings accounts etc.
