WHATEVER has a PM with some games to set up. I'm sure he'll post here once they are ready.

Just noticed that Hoity bases finishing positions on where everyone is on the board, rather than by points. So I'll be using the number of spaces covered as the points. There are 26 "normal" spaces, plus 13 in the dining room, so somewhere between 27 and 39 for the winner!

Can we play only one of each game at once? I am not going to be able to keep track of (for example) 4 different hacienda games at once, and I'll stuggle to make all my moves in a timely manner.

I guess it's up to individual players (or groups of players) to come to some arrangement to concentrate on one at a time, but remember that SBW will kill a game after a certain period of inactivity. If that happens, that game could be recreated at a more convenient time.

Personally, I don't have a strategy so having multiple games doesn't bother me!

Thanks to everyone for getting all the games ready to play :-)

I've got all the game numbers so every now and then I will draw up a current leaderboard.

OK, a bit early for any scores but I have at least finished the spreadsheet that I'll be using to calculate the overall positions!

jeffersdn and I will be playing a total of 20 games; everyone else is playing 21.

Any guesses as to when we'll finish?

We've had our first finish, the 3-player Tikal between me, Ashers and Dom. The final positions:

Dom 134 (100 Championsip points)
bspittles 116 (85)
Ashers 80 (59)

Although it's early days, I've done a quick tally of the other games and the very early leaderboard for the whole tournament is:

1 Dom 157.9
2 bspittles 141.5
3 Ashers 89.35
4 jeffersdn 86.12
5 kizkiz 70.43
6 WHATEVER 33.27

This is more so I can test the spreadsheet, which seems to be working fine! I can't see those positions staying that way for very long!

Santiago can't be scored until the end of the game (not accurately, anyway) and Wallenstein needs to reach the half-way point. There's one more Tikal about to finish, but the current scores are:

1 fancy dan 207.8
2 bspittles 174.2
3 jeffersdn 143.4
4 kizkiz 110.8
5 Ashers 105.8
6 WHATEVER 48.2

With 4 of the 30 games completed, the leaderboard looks like this:

Code:
fancy dan   224.50
bspittles   217.30
jeffersdn   172.51
kizkiz      152.81
Ashers      150.43
WHATEVER     90.33

WHATEVER's games are starting to show some progress, so his average is creeping up.

Looks like I should have practiced these games before entering this tournament.

Whatever's average is creeping ominously up, and I think Bus will be his game...I'm hoping my HT prowess might just hold him off... :D

I should have worked out the averages based on games started rather than games being participated in. That would have given a clearer picture for WHATEVER's delayed start.

If I can hang on to third by the end of the tourney, I'll be a happy bunny :-)
