Ok Rooney has 2 games against Chelsea and Liverpool so probably not many points for him there.

Sunderland have 6 games if they win the fa cup replay:

Norwich (h)
Stoke (a)
Middlesbrough (a) (FA Cup)
Arsenal (h)
Arsenal (h) (FA Cup)
WBA (a)

One thing I am worried about is if they do beat Middlesbrough is there a chance there away game v WBA could be moved depending on when the FA Cup game against Arsenal gets played?

Anyway who would you go for from Sunderland?

He was going to be a season long for me and then got tempted by this chance for some extra games.

I think the question might be more relevant in reference to Valencia or Nani.

Apparently there has been twittering from both who claim they will be fit for Monday - but this remains to be seen and ultimately the club doctors will have their way.

Is McLean worth considering, or too much of a gamble?

I'm also bringing in some Sunderland players but have a small dilemma.

I already have Larsson and will be keeping Rooney for now so it comes down to:

1. Sess and O'Shea

or

2 Dempsey and O'Shea

Surely option 1 for the extra games and still being in the cup? Thoughts anyone?

Ditto for Mclean, from memory points return has been good recently and always seems to be showing up on the commentary from what I have seen (mainly in a positive way!)

Does this work with Chelsea?

Sorry to hi-jack this a bit, but anyone think VDV  Sess/Larsson is worth while tonight?

Depends if you have Bale.

I'm more likely to believe vdV over fitness than 'Onest 'Arry.

Nope, it is because MU are out of the Cup, and then play on the Sunday as they are out of the CL (which gives a few possibilities later in the season, with Arsenal vs Toon on a Monday sometime soonish).

If campbell starts tonight I am tempted to take out ade for him. I don't like taking out players who are still in the cup but he has been off form for a while now and can't take out Kun as my nearest rival has him so sod's law will come into play.

He looked hungry and got his goal against Boro

Yes I have Bale, although I'm not sure what difference that makes? I'm thinking it is a 4 for 2, 3 for 1 or 2 for 0 at worst, even if VDV doesn't miss a game. I'm inclined to believe he might miss at least 1, so could be a 3 for 0 or even 4 for 0

I wouldn't be without both Bale and vdV was my point.

I have both, and was thinking of booting Mata to go to MU after the run of Sunderland.

its against the flow of this thread - but some times with these extra game opportunities it can be best to sit on your hands if there is no clear and definite choice you want to make. Would you consider these players if there were no extra games?

To throw a spanner in the works...

Appreciate the form under O'Neill has changed the playing field somewhat.

On the downside Bridge could be playing LB behind MacClean, who is the one I am tempted by and then hop to Valencia after the 6 games, or go back to Welbeck if I were to sack him.........

mata's points have been 7, 10, 5, 2, 7, 2 (5.5 ppg) in an underperforming chelski side, and they are still in the cup, who in MU would you replace him with?

And I would think he was rested against Stoke.
