No offence Kaigee, but I hope you don't win the Golf Balls, the cost of posting them would cripple me.

I suspect quite a few teams did - by selecting a "season-long" team (as opposed to a team geared towards the African Swing) without both Els and Schwartzel.

I think it is still going to take a few years for some people to work out the best way to play this :)

How many years will it take for the organisers to abbreviate the scoring? e.g £365k or £1.25m, surely by the end of the season it's like telephone numbers :?

SRIXON GOLF BALL CHALLENGE

Mini League Update 11. 01. 10.

Looks like AKNel has gone to sleep on this one, he still hasn't won a single Euro. Oddly enough he had €12,000 in the Bank prior to this round. He'll probably blame it on his Team suddenly disappearing after he entered them.

That'll be because Els is no longer in the top 15 and hence his earnings currently do not count.

It'll now take a brave man to take Schwartzel out of their team in preparation for the forthcoming "Arab Swing"...and proof that the tactic of putting in 15 active players in the African Swing was worthwhile - even if he is the only one of the current top 15 who I'd fancy to stay there.

Is this where I step in and replace GF-C with Schwartzel in my comments from the Ivory Tower?

Because I'll be avoiding that near-clanger from last year

Maybe too much going on at TheFriendlyGolfer and no time to manage teams.

My 'flawed' strategy for this comp is to select the 15 I fancy for the top 15 early & make transfers in the final 6 weeks of the comp.

Don't really like the format of this comp., but have learnt 'strategy' wise for next year.
