If you substitute the word "smug" with "childish, annoying, pathetic or any other similar", then Chris Moyles should fit the bill ;-)

Indeed (and I don't). I do watch Sky Sports though.

Talking of Sky, what do you all think of Neville so far ??

Seems to have settled in much better than Redknapp did

Haven't seen him on the MNF i-pad gizmos but he seems to have adapted to the co commentating OK

Only seen him a bit (I tend to only watch the actual games). He does seem to be quite insightful and talk some sense. You can tell he is striving hard not to bring in too much pro-Manc, anti-Scouse bias which is quite amusing. Better than many which has surprised and pleased me.

Thing is, he is just so dull and not just his voice!!

So in summary he says more interesting things than Andy Gray and is wrong less often but he is so far behind Andy Gray in generating excitement in the game and what he is saying.

Definitely one for the written word not the wham bam world of Sky.

Neville talks too much. You hear him more than the commentator, it should be the commentator 70% pundit 30%

Neville is better than I thought he would be based on his first couple of appearances. Agree with Murf that he's 'insightful but dull'. Suppose that's better than the other way around though - hopefully they'll give him some presentation training.
