Was pretty sure that several posters would let the world know how lucky they had been, but I didn't anticipate the speed of their anxiety to do so.

I'm not overly excited, I know EVERYONE who is anywhere near the top of the leaderboard has Bale and quite a few have nani too... but i'll definitely have gained some ground on the people who don't have nani. My top team was somewhere around the 3000 mark so i'm hoping with any luck i'll be in the top 1000 now.

I am not so sure about this. Have been taking a look at the top 100 and I would say there are more teams without Bale in it than teams that do have him. How many points do you have if you are around the 3000 mark? I am way back in 17,000th

It's possible some people took bale out as they may have decided that he's got them a fair amount of points already and that if EVERYONE has him then if he gets injured they'd be at an advantage having someone else. Or they didn't pick him from the start and couldn't manage to squeeze him in.... probably the latter. Just the 2 teams for me. After tonight i'll have 471 points, still not enough to push me into the current top 100 that does include tonights points (lowest points are 493)

Still harbouring aspirations of winning the competiton outright? I make that 24 points tonight for Bale and 13 for Nani. Does anyone else concur?

25 pts, for Bale i think.....trouble is most teams have him....but it's still a nice bonus, i was just relieved when he had scored ONE ! ( I should be on 495 pts now, so hopefully getting nearer the top 100 ! ) :D

I don't think i'm going to win it, chances of winning it with just 2 teams is pretty slim.... don't have enough bases covered. I compare the SDT to trying to crack a 4 digit code; you stand a much higher chances of cracking the code the more possible combinations you enter. With just 2 teams your chances are minute.

I'd say 25 for bale and 14 for nani

Nani: 5 for the goal, 5 for the star man, 3 for mark of 7, 2 for clean sheet and -1 for yellow card.
Bale: 5 x 3 for the 3 goals, 5 for the hat-trick bonus, 3 for mark of 7 or more and -3 for conceding 4 goals.

Hmm 55th for the week

Obviously not as many people as I thought have Nasri, Nani and Bale.

I bet you don't see ratings like that too often. Bale gets 8 and star man and the rest of the team get 4s, 5s and one 6  Thought he might even get a 10, but I guess them losing prevents that.

He was impressive last night and I didn't know he had a throw on him like Rory Delap

Well I've got a defence of Agger, Faubert, Da Silva and Djorou.
Am I unlucky or stupid?
