Thanks Doc, somethings never change. Lampard gets the MOM and Carvahlo his standard 6. Did no one see Carvahlo's run to set up Wright-Phillips Goal, it was tremendous.

Surprised to see so many 7s awarded to a side beaten 1-0 by the bottom club.

Would Zokora have scored 10, rather than 8, without his sending-off, or was the Sun reporter already down the boozer when that happened. :?:

Bellamy a 6? He was quite clearly Liverpool's best player.

I think Fowler and Gunthrie are Sun favourites, both of them seem to get 7s for nothing every time they play although Fowler did score twice I suppose.

I didnt watch much of the Chelsea game but I knew Lampard would be getting man of the match when the only part of the game I did see was Lampard giving the ball away.

Lastly, what has happened with Jenas? He seems to be back from his injury now but doesnt seem to be playing.

Carvalho failed to score, hence a 6.

Lampard played, hence star man.

The last thing i want to do is defend the Sun and its normally appalling ratings( see Lampard MOM :? ) But i too am of the opinion that the Assessor for the Sun ratings if there, has, already left the game especially if midweek, well before 70 mins have elapsed.
And yet, last night Keane came on in the 80 mins, went off injured in 90 mins, but he got awarded MOM.
SPOOKY. and imo totally wrong that he should get it.

I usually defend the Sun and their dodgy ratings but a 5 for Boulharouz and the standard 6 for Carvalho is a joke. They were superb I thought but maybe the Sun took into account the opposition.

JOKES OF THE NIGHT:
Carvalho 6: he marshalled superbly the defence and had a few "raids" in the "Franco Baresi" style. MOTM in my opinion.
Boulharouz 5: didnt' put a foot wrong...embarrassing that he got a "5".
I haven't seen the Spurs' game...but HOW ON EARTH could you deserve a MOTM with 9 mins on the field ???
Berbatov seems to be the choice for almost everyone who seen the game...
Liverpool's match: Fowler was the only decent player for the Reds. The others performances appalling really.

This is the Sun's spin on the MOM decision for Robbie Keane. Make of it what you will. !!!

ROBBIE KEANE may only have been on the pitch for NINE minutes but the Spurs striker managed to grab the headlines against Middlesbrough.
The Irishman came on as a second half sub for Steed Malbranque and made an immediate impact by grabbing the winner. But just minutes later he was hauled off by boss Martin Jol after picking up a knee injury.

Despite his short spell on the pitch Keane grabbed 13 Dream Team points.

I thought Bellamy played really well and looked full of confidence after his goals against Wigan.

I thought he was the main threat for Liverpool all game and while Fowler grabbed the goals I thought Bellamy was by far Liverpools best player.

Apart from him though I didnt think anyone else played very well although Pennant looked slightly better than usual (which isnt that hard).

Thought Berbatov deserved man of the match last night personally, but oh well.

Boro ratings are extremely generous, Boateng deserved about 4.

Oh well, 19 points for me last night :)
