What if I swapped him for Rooney on Monday, would Rooney become captain.

As the rules state you can do transfers before the KO off the player, but the Captain Changes had to be in Blocks for the GW.

You can't change captain within a 'fixture block' (which means a single round of games, ie Sat-Mon), so it won't let you change it to Rooney.

(You can transfer in/out any other players but your captain, at any time, between fixtures)
