Hi Toffee,

Yes looks like being an interesting competition given that the first tournament is Ryder Cup week and the big money event is the HSBC Champions in Shanghai. Interesting to see what the sub / mulligan deadlines are for the latter, might be having to set my alarm clock!

That's a good point about the WGC - HSBC Champions tournament. In addition to being played in China, it's also got a much higher prize pool than the other tournaments - $7,000,000 overall and $1,350,000 to the winner:

http://www.fallseries1.protourfantasygolf.com/schedule

This is the first year for the Fall Series contest. I'm going to send a message to everyone who has signed up for the league thus far about whether we should play this tournament or not. Originally, I thought everyone would rather play than sit it out. But it does have some implications. I'm not sure what time the lineup deadlines would be. I'll have to do some time zone math to figure that out.

BTW, assuming we get additional participants, I will increase the prize pool just like I did for the FedEx Cup contest. We got an additional 30 participants for that contest, so I was able to increase the prize pool by $750 USD. I prefer to set the bar low and then increase if we can.

John

Just a friendly reminder that the PTFG Fall Series contest starts one week from today (9/30). It's the last PTFG contest of the 2010 season:

Would love to see some more FISO users sign-up. They're always a lively and competitive bunch!

Well done MU #1 Fan, another $100 :D

Just like printing money!

That said, you Haas been very lucky this week, with Allenby doubling the last and the Atwal bogey on the same hole!

Not only is Colin "printing money", I believe he's having a lot of fun too. For those of you who haven't played PTFG, there is no fantasy golf game on the Internet that is as quick and easy to play as Pro Tour Fantasy Golf:

Congrats once again, Colin!

I came 2nd in the end, Bruce had an amazing series of picks so fair play to him for taking away $500 :

http://www.fallseries1.protourfantasygo ... individual

Still made $250 myself, ending the season $1,350 in profit from an initial $400 investment :P 8-)

Would be nice to see a few more FISO'ers in addition to Toffee and Horton next year

Well played Colin (again!).

Good to see Horton take some money too :D

In fact the only FISO entrant not to win anything was me

Well played guys. Excellent PFL season and a virtuoso performance from Colin. Time to concentrate on my mediocre showing in OFL, Scotsman, NCG etc. :?
