Anyone else seen any of this on five?

Saw the double bill on Monday night and quite enjoyed it. Next monday has final 2 episodes which is a bit of a bummer, was wondering if anyone who had been following it could vouch for how good the series has been.

Tesco and amazon uk are doing the 1st half of the series for £25, however I notice amazon.com will do the whole series for $39 if pre-ordered now. Given amazon uk quote a discounted price of £45 for the full series I am sorely tempted to order from the US - with the exchange rate where it is it is a no-brainer even with customs charges.

Just a bummer Lost season 2 isn't out in the US for a few months - plan to do the same thing there.

know it's there but haven't had the inckling to check it out. however if it's that good i may have a gander.

To be honest was sat FISOing with a drink and had been watching 5th gear but couldn't be arsed to get the remote let alone walk to the tv. Thought it would be some five tripe but was very pleasantly surprised. I am sure there are millions of holes to be picked by pedants but I certainly watched the whole of the double bill and was planning to watch the finale, although I think I will now hold off and get hold of it.

Been watching it since the start but its dragged on a bit too long for my likeing. Im about 3 episodes behind as i was getting a bit infuriated with the cliffhanger endings so i watch them in bundles now.

Not sure how many are left to go, the last one i saw was Lincolns execution. (without giving too much away).

Same here but I officially gave up on it a few weeks back.

Mrs Yellow reliably informs me the final (2 hour) episode is on Monday.

If I can interpret murf and CY's words - you have followed it as it was ok [good/enjoyable/nowt else on, please delete as appropriate!] but felt it dragged on a bit.

Does the latter point mean you wouldn't have got a bit weary of it if you had the whole season on dvd and could watch it as you pleased - as CY has suggetsed he is doing now as he catches up?

I have 6 episodes to sit and watch now. Yes on DVD it would probably be rivetting viewing altho i really think 10 episodes would be ideal. im not sure how many there actually are but i guess its about 20. No sooner does our hero solve one problem then another 2 or 3 are put in his way.

That said im looking forward to watching them all.

Which also brings home how much we in the UK are still getting ripped off, with the half season costing £25 when reduced over here!

My wife reminded me the other day we saw the cast at an NFL game all dressed as convicts. As the show wasnt here i didnt think much of it at the time.

Any other NFL fans remember seeing them with their front row seats? Seem to recall it was a Miami game.

excellent show... and the final two episodes are compulsive viewing... a few twists and turns to go... leading into the 2nd series to be aired in the states in the fall

Well, I went ahead and ordered it from the US, the mrs and I have been watching it steadily and have now reached the point it was at when I posted the original comment. Looking forward to the riveting final episodes as brogie describes them

Then it's on to Lost Season 2.

Incidentally, I would re-iterate my earlier point about anyone wanting to oder from the US. It may be worth Pming me. It won't make you a fortune, but I think it's interesting. I am unwilling to post it openly on the forum though.

We're three or four episodes into season 2 on this side of the Atlantic and it's pretty hot. Just taking a three week break because of the baseball playoffs. Like 24 it stretches credibility but is highy entertaining.

Still got a heap of them to watch recorded on the sky hard-drive.
