FS Record: Pick Quick Winner 2010-11..........£420 total in winnings from mini cash leagues over the years
Anyone watching it / watched it tonight?

Absolutely fantastic stuff. *One of the highlights had to be the life time achievement award going to the founder member of CLIC. He started the charity after his son died in 1976 of cancer. He has raised over £100,000,000 and his award was given by Barry McGuighan (sp). Barry McG made a very "from the heart" speech. Truly inspirational and tear jerking!

This is the type of programme where crying has to be allowed - take note Xfactor!

* = of course all of the things on the show tonight have been highlights, from the girl who has rebuilt her life after being knocked down by a car and has lobbied to introduce pelican crossings on the road she was knocked down on and is now studying to be a sports coach for disabled kids through to the selfless female taxi driver who risked her own life to get an elderly woman out of her car + move the car afterwards from a level crossing.

Staggering stuff. :)

What really made me want to throw up was the Cheryl Cole stage managed visit to Afghanistan, surely one of the sickest publicity stunts ever. I don't know why the MOD played along with a desperate woman try to revive her career on the back of our troops.

Mixed feelings - real worthy people being awarded trophys by has beens and watched by wannabees and paid performers.
Maybe I am cynical but it smacks of a rag promoting a beautiful starlet being watched by a hackneyed crowd of back slappers.

Yes I am a grumpy old man.

totally agree with this i am personally sick of people who are basically famous for being famous with no real great talent milking every penny they can get.

the tabloid media are the ones to blame for this culture of celebrity no body's and also large sections of the dumb downed public personality i am totality sick of hearing/reading about people like pippa all the time
