In the Ballentines they re-started the 3rd round at midnight last night.

Before retiring I checked the scores, and saw that Westwood had re-started bogey, double bogey to drop down to about 15th  .

So off I toddled, calling Westwood all the things under the sun for losing me a stack of OFL points.

Next thing I know he's won it

Turns out the double bogey was in fact a birdie, easy mistake to make I guess :? .

The scoring on the Euro Tour really is consistently crap, if it's not wrong scores it's a "delay in scoring".

Shame, coz the general look of the site is good  .

And sadly that is the response you get from them........."Most people love their site"

I dont like it at all by comparison to PGA tour one.

Only thing in their defence was that the scores were poor all week due to the Korean scorers getting used to things  Rhys Davies was hoping that it was a mis-count with his 8!

The PGa site last night had Watson getting a bogey, a bogey that got him from -8 to -9. It's all a case of info being taken in by various devices on course I think. Buttons and human error often.

Apparently Westwood went out to 80 and 90-1 on Betfair on the back of the wrong scoring, until it was corrected when he was on the 17th, when he moved from 7 shots off the lead to 4 in an instant

Needless to say his odds dropped somewhat

Agree with toffee on this. I mean, how could Sultans of Swing be ranked ninth this week in the Dubai race?

Pah...

Not really a comp that I focus on as I hear that any nutter can appear in the Top 10 at some stage

Ah, a rare bonus...

The site had Maarten Lafeber down as having two double-bogeys in the space of three holes, but in addition to a birdie at the last, one of these double-bogeys has changed to a par.

The European Tour would claim that the live scoring is inferior to the PGA Tour because of the lack of on-course volunteers in comparison, but I don't think this can excuse such accuracy issues.

Apparently earlier they missed out Robert Coles score on his 8th (17th) altogether  , then showed an eagle on 9 (18th).

A bogey later appeared for his 8th hole, and then the eagle on 9 magically turned into a bogey :P

What a joke!

As posted in the other thread.

Shane Lowrey showing a 9 on the par 5 (5th), magically changed back to a par at the end of the round.

To be fair, that's my bad rather than the European Tour - although I'm fairly certain that the percentages were only a week out of date (I forgot to schedule this whilst on holiday) and that it was just that the tournament name hadn't been updated for subsequent events.

The US site is much better, even though it seems to have frozen.........

Unless there has been an earthquake :?

Suspended due to inclement weather

Just as Tom was about to be swallowed up

Nothing personal, but I laid him at 1.55, for £50 stake, and have all at -8 and better, bar Wi at silly odds.

Nice to see that smarmy Donald get his comeuppance, he was 5 under after 11 holes, but 42 over after 12 :P

Looks to be a simple case of each stroke being recorded rather than relation to par - you could work it out, or just wait until they put it right later.
