Don't believe everything you hear & certaintly don't believe those biased, one-eyed Fox News reporters.
They only tell you what they want you to hear, very little is factual & most of it is crap.
The worst would have to be The O'Reilly Report, I have never heard a bigger idiot in my life.
This guy is an absolute disgrace & is vermin.
As soon as somebody questions him or tells the truth, he proceeds to bad mouth & discredit them.

We love the O'Reilly report. It's the biggest laugh on TV. We watch FOX News because most Americans do. Watching is the only way to understand why so many still support Bush. Especally if you don't live there.

I've only recently discovered the full horror of Fox News, via a programme on BBC4 about Al Franken, in which some clips were shown and he debated head-to-head with the likes of Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly - what thoroughly objectionable reactionary a-holes they are. Has anyone seen Outfoxed, the documentary about Fox and how it works? Looks very interesting - check out http://www.outfoxed.org .

I would think that Fox news was the main reason Bush got back for the second term - I like the O"Reilly factor too - there's a lot of no bullshit common sense I can relate to in the non political stuff and I have seen plenty of all party debates on Fox (I'm counting that as Republicans, Clinton and Obama  I'm probably more of a liberal myself, but admire O'Reilly because of his self confidence and authority. If the husband of Zsa Zsa is actually the father of Anna Nicole Smith's child,
it will be interesting to see who foots the bill.

Ok so he occasionally loses his temper and has had phone sex - the guy who edited those pieces possibly went through a thousand interviews and that was the worst he could find :o Maybe you think Al Jazeira is better viewing

I definitely think Al Jazeera is better viewing, and that's not a joke. Al Jazeera are a serious news organisation, and just because they are based in the Middle East doesn't mean that they support 'terrorists'. My sister-in-law's hubby works for them, and they do some excellent programming, much better than the crap that Fox pump out.

I would love to get Al Jazeira. I'm sure it would really help viewers to understand the Arab perspective, just as Fox news provides a window into the views of a great many Americans.
As a professional journalist, I find the bias and distortion of Fox News appalling. They complain, not without some merit, of a Liberal bias on some mainstream U.S. networks, but they are in a class by themselves when it comes to twisting the news to fit their own distorted, pro-capitalist, ultra-Christian, viewpoint. They project everything from this perspective, promoting ignorance of the rest of the world's views, and derisively referring to anyone who doesn't toe the fundamentalist Christain line as a secular politician. Bizarre.
O'Reilly acts like Cock of the Walk, which is comical considering the hilarious sexual harassment scandal involving his former female assistant. Bill had to pay her a fortune to stop her leaking excruciatingly funny tidbits about his bizarre behavior.
We changed our TV deal around, dropping and adding stations, just so we could get Fox News. My eighteen year old and I love to catch the M-F hour-long O'Reilly report. To cap it off, you need to see the Steven Colbert Show, which is essentially an hilarious parody of O'Reilly.
I give Fox this. They do a good job of exposing the politically correct nonsense that sometimes invades the school system and politics. Other than that it's like watching a horror news channel.

So basically you all agree that Fox News & O'Reilly is rubbish, but you watch it as a comedy almost as if it is a joke ?
I must admit that last time I watched it I was actually laughing at it myself, due to how pathetic it is.
