Celebrities and fans alike turned out on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams to salute the Cup of Broken Dreams winner kashdayz. The inaugural winner of the tournament can now proclaim himself the 'Loser of Losers' or 'Winner of Losers', whichever he likes as no-one can really be bothered deciding. Holding the first piece of silverware of the new season aloft between forefinger and thumb, kashdayz savoured every moment of his triumphant failure/failed triumph.

'Determined Salvage'

After an embarassingly early Fiso League FPL Knockout Stupidly Lengthy Named Y'Know the Cup Jonathan Runs Cup defeat to carloduplessis, Kashdayz says he was "determined to salvage something from the season and when Kudos came along with this idea I jumped at the chance"

The apparent disappearance of Kudos did not deter kashdayz from his goal and he vanquished such formidable failures as Brogie and M-boy on his way to (very) minor glory.

Blonde Ambition

The unusual nature of some ties in the competition, with some matches including three competitors, were of particular interest to the champion. One source close to Kashdayz says he was overheard in the bar at the victory reception telling a curvaceous young blonde how much he enjoyed threeways.
