Predicting the premier league fixtures for 2013/2014.

With Suarez banned for 6 games at the start of the next season I will predict that in the first 6 games we face Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Man City.

Not that the fixture list is ever put together in favour of one club or another :?

My bet is that every team will play every other team twice.

I also predict that each team will play each other once at home, and once away.

So Liverpool are a one man team then?

Maybe if Liverpool actually manage to buy the players your insider knowledge predicts annually, they won't miss the absence of Suarez at the start of next season.

I'll predict that Liverpool will play fewer Sunday games next season.

Well for starters if Liverpool aren't in the Europa (fingers crossed) the ban will be up by mid September.

Before you dare claim "i told you so" when the fixtures are eventually announced…..

2012/2013
Arsenal, Man U and City in the first 5 games

2011/2012
Arsenal, Spurs, Everton and Man U in the first 8 games

2010/2011
Arsenal, City and Man U in the first 5 games

2009/2010
Spurs and Chelsea in first 8 games

2008/2009
Man U, Everton, City and Chelsea in the first 9 games

Isnt if funny though how we always get Man Utd in the first 8 fixtures each season

I will bet Man Utd vs Liverpool will be the first game of next season if Suarez is still banned.

apart from 2009/2010 ;)

Whats funny about it though?

Some would argue its better playing them early.

a) before they get in to their stride
b) win it, and it gives the season a boost.

I agree.

And I reckon that if Liverpool play Utd in the first 8 games there is no way that they will have to play them again until after Christmas.

8 fixtures is 1/5th of the season so not that unusual.

I predict Liverpool will sign some players in the summer and there deluded fans will believe that this is there year to mount a serious challenge for the top 4. Then after 6 games there challenge looks impossible as they will lose to all the teams expected to fight relegation.

You forget that despite signing mediocre players, they all have potential and on aggregate are now the best players in the world in their positions
