I am a multi teamed Boselli owner

The thing is he looked so good preseason and his record in S America was good too. I thought it was worth taking the risk.

Don't despair though, there's still plenty of games before he leaves your team (if you do dump him), who knows, he may score a hat-trick or two

Well, even 1 goal would be nice.

Doubt I'll sub him for Carroll, probably like Diouf I think.

I was all set for having Carroll in most teams untill i read (on FISO) about this great striker at Wigan. So i changed many teams from Carroll to this fine man.Goes to show all the great advice in FISO sometimes backfires. lesson learnt

There's already a thread devoted to boselli so i'm assuming a mod will just attach this onto that.

On topic: I'm enjoying seeing the large number of victims that succumb to the boselli bandwagon and although i did take into account a lot of the info i found on here before picking my teams i made sure not to get too easily influenced... especially where a wigan ck was concerned.

FS Record: Reigning SDT champion 07/08, 08/09, 09/10, well mates league anyway.
He is only 1.5 mil. Come on its like moaning about a packet of 10p space invader crisps being slightly off and demanding a refund ;)

Im more worried about wasting 8.5m on rooney.

Actually i read this too. At first in the sun dreamteam forum. Because i didnt trust the knowledge of us inferior folk i went to the telegraph forum where 50% of the threads where about how great a bargain boselli is.

Lesson learnt. Hiso folk are rather dim.

Me too :(
Heard Tim Vickery on the Radio two weeks ago talking about him - sounded like the team he played for in Argentina was similiar to playing for Man U and he was going loads of chances a game! Tim said he was surprised Wigan bought him!

You might find they cost 15p nowadays so i would complain.Slightly cheered up by being reminded many others have a useless 8.5 in their team. He's in none of mine, not this early anyhow

His cost isn't the main issue.... this issue is you NEED your strikers to be scoring and if you've got him in a team with only 2 strikers i think you're in big trouble. I'd be interested to know how many points people have got with this guy in their team, especially teams that contain just 2 strikers.

As I recall, the first space invader crisp tasted of something (dunno what, maybe pickled onion), but eating the rest of the pack was just like chewing paper.

I suppose for those that chose Boselli and seeing him start, and nearly score in the first game (hit the bar against Blackpool), was like eating the first space invader crisp in the packet.... and then the novelty kind of wares off pretty much straight away and you feel a bit hard done by.

Yeah, I like the Boselli>space invader crisps analogy (besides, the top team only has 10 men, at least Boselli will feature every game).

Does anyone think he will start on Saturday - of course I'm aware of the new signing.

But Martinez did pay a lot for Boselli.

At the moment though, I actually wish he was crocked like Rodwell, Defoe and the others, that way at least I wouldn't have to pin my hopes on him, when i know that he'll only disappoint..... again.

Oi, Boselli - put your bloody finger out mate

Boselli has no effing chance mate.

He's also on my ELITE team, along with Kolarov, Ivanovic and Rodwell and Joe Cole.

I might be another with no interest AT ALL in this shit come TW1.

In the Sun forum, (and assuming that you are not considering bringing him in for the WDT ) its totally irrelevant whether Boselli is going to play or not. You can do sod all until TW1 by which time the situation is likely to be clearer. Life is too short to focus on current irrelevancies.

If this turns out to be untrue (possibly correct given that it was said to be 2-6 weeks), ck luck should be put in the fiso stocks as a target for our rotten tomatoes. His post has already wasted me five minutes searching for as yet undiscovered confirmation.

Whats up stinky, has your long haul lorry got a puncture? :P

I don't know what all the worry is about Boselli. The season has hardly started, he's new to the EPL and it will take him a little while to find his feet.

I think he will play this weekend and I still firmly believe he will be good value at 1.5.

Nah - but the drive shaft is bust. It'll be a race to get it back on the road even by TW1.

Was always a risk, I got him hoping he'd be the new Zaki. When is the first window?

i think Boselli will score fewer points between now and the window than Zamora and Defoe.

He'll surely be dropped to make way for Di Santo/N'Zogbia. We're basically playing dream team with 10 men (9 in my case, due to Kolarov bad luck) until we can get this 0 point machine out.
