I only entered 1 team in the main game this year as i prefer monthly attemts starting september but would like to know if anyone else feels this could be a tough month? Reason being there is only 3 weekends of games with 30 transfers per team i cant help but think every team in the main game who gets a good score on the 1st weekend will then go for the monthly as will have plenty subs to make.Usually in the monthlys you only up against those who enter sinply for that month where as sept could prove to have plenty more challengers.

Is this a good point? would like to here what others think about this

I personally wouldn't waste a season long team on the monthly comp after one good week. So think you'll be mainly up against the monthlies.

You'll only be up against monthlies for sure. If anyone starts the month well they will see that as getting back into the race for the main prizes as it is still early days. Any idea how many entries go in targeting monthlies these days? I remember a few years ago when the monthly prize was $10k it was very popular. It seems since then the game in general is less attractive. I still like it so I might have a go at some of the monthlies too, maybe not Sep though.

I came a close 2nd twice last year on both occasions I had 50 teams. So I'd probably try a similar amount of teams tho I'm sure some enter more than that some months.

Rubbish

Anyone planning properly on winning would enter lots of teams at the season start when it was 2 teams for 1 in July.
You could have done that, let them lie idle, then use them up over the coming months.

Then if any team happens to do well, then attack the month with it. Slight tweaks may only be needed.
True some teams do meet an easier set of fixtures and you could profit.
But will they outscore Drogba, Malouda, Fabregas, Lamps, Gerrard, Rooney doing their usual. Slim chance. Good luck trying. I reckon its about getting the backbone sorted and then the 2 unique differences, hopefully do the biz.

Think about it, the best teams usually do best all the time.
So season runners will be up there.
And they would blow there chances cos 1st prize is only for 1 person. The other prizes are so scabby that they should fight for the monthly.
