Hello all. I've got a question that somewhat distantly relates to FISO.

How many footballers generally return to playing after meniscectomies? I've had a good chunk of both medial and lateral removed, and at 20 I'm not entirely sure I want this to be career ending. Never was going to play professional, I don't think (unless I get another trial for Wellington Phoenix ) but I'd still like to be able to contribute to my Sunday league as a player rather than as a supporter on the sidelines. With the knowledge people have here about the way these sort of things usually turn out, anybody have any optimistic news for me?

Not sure where else I could have posted this, but I reckoned that with the amount of knowledge people have about football on here it was my best bet.
