Nothing eccentric to be found here, probably quite a few similar sides been posted here but would just like to get some feedback.

Image

Friedel: I think he could be top scoring keeper this season. More than happy @6mil.

Terry: Clean sheets, sprinkle of goals. Just edges out Ivan.
Dawson: Think he'll be a regular, fit for PL and Europe.
Evans: Good till Rio returns, replace with inform 5.5mil or less (Jags/Hange/Upson).
Figueroa: [Providing he's at 'Pool] Clean sheets and left-back starter.

Fabregas: 300 anyone? *PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE* don't get injured.
Malouda: Will outperform Frank this season.
Petrov/N'Zog: Great value @6mil. Does Matty Etherington edge either one out?

Rooney: Dissapointing WC, comes back with a point to prove. Good for 250?
Anelka: Fixtures, games without Drog. Straight swap for Defoe when he (inevitably) hits form.

Ferguson/Foley/Philips: Undoubtedly dodgy, but happy to compromise for my first XI.

Criticism? Thanks in advance.

Is Phillips going to be a regular?

I'd go for someone else like Carroll who's more likely to play every game, finding the extra 0.5 from somewhere if necessary.

Other than that it looks quite good IMO.

Philips  Ameobi
Freidel  Schwarzer (+1mil!)
Terry  Evra or Cole?

Could take a very different approach to the middle of the park: Malouda, Arshavin, Modric, Essien. They should all be firing from the start. Allows me 2/3 GWs to see how Lampard and Fab are shaping up, and then I can change Mal/Arsha for one of them and the form 6mil'er.

This line up leaves me 0.5mil should I wish to change Rooney  Drogba.

Alternatively, I could Terry  Vidic, and change Anelka for RVP when Drogba comes back.

Maybe, but Lampard will still score more in FPL

Philips > Taylor Fletcher.

Philips will get 0 or 1 at best most games, Taylor Fletcher should play at least an hour every week.

I think you mean Phillips < Taylor-Fletcher then...

Whilst downgrading Friedel is a good move, Myhill's move to west Brom must put doubt in Carson's starting place. Perhaps a further downgrade to a 4.5 keeper to allow a Carson upgrade as the 4 mill options are pretty poor.

The arrow was signalling to transfer Phillips to Taylor Fletcher, think it only takes basic knowledge to realise that.

Usually when someone is using 'this' > 'that' it means they are saying that something is greater than (better) lol.. surely it only takes basic knowledge to realise that?

It may be a bit early to tell at the moment but if you're looking at 4.5m strikers the i'd be tempted by either ishmael miller at brom or o'connor at brum. Both have had strong pre-seasons and both are likely to see more playing time than phillips.

yeah I am keeping an eye on O'Connor.. he is very injury prone but is probably one of the best finishers at Brum

I can't see him playing many full games though especially with Jerome to contend with, who was one of their best performers last season.

Bringing this back the life; rate these two please.

These are pending Alex (consequently Cech also) and Rooney being match fit - want to see 'em in Comm. Shield. Second one is definately more risky, I'm sorta swayed towards the first one if Rooney starts in the community shield.
