Just a couple of days to go before the start of the 2010 Scotsman FG so I thought I would keep the spreadsheet theme going.

Here are the players expected to turn up at Florida this week for the CA Championship:



No Scots sadly in G8 so just a maximum of 7 players this week.

Just a wee reminder for those setting up their team for the first time: your team won't be registered until you hit the 'save selections' red bar above your choices. The site set-up can be a bit pedantic and I know of at least one manager who scored 0 points last year after week 1 because they forgot to confirm their team selection. Don't say you haven't been warned!

Excellent work again Polarbear. A Newbie to the Golf Forum asked where he could get a list of the players for the weekend. I can now point him in this direction.

It looks like the Scotsman / silent manager have gotten a bit ahead of themselves in 'locking down' the site.

Normally access is usually availalable until a new code is needed on Monday morning.

Pa102aw has emailed them asking why a code is needed so early in the week. He will hopefully post their response soon.

Fingers crossed this is just a 'start of the season' bug and normal service will be resumed ASAP.

I just logged in and noticed I already have 2 transfers.

I have used these to bring in players who are entered for the next 2 european events in the hope that I'll get 2 more on Monday.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Nightmare start for me with only Villegas (cap) and Donald currently in scoring positions.

Same here with just Vijay and Kaymer in the mix.

Not too down though as you have to look at the bigger picture in this game. You are stuck with 6 of your 8 picks each week so I won't be chasing shadows as in previous years. I should have a full compliment next week, so hopefully get the benefit of my team in the weeks to come.

If you planned your team properly in week 1 you should have 8 active this week. (barring withdrawals )

OK I understand Ernie Els - (400 for win + 5 for making cut*) x 1.5 for 50% bonus tourney = 607.5, round down to 607.

I understand the players that finished outside the top 25

5 for making the cut x 1.5 = 7.5, round down = 7

But everyone in between? I'm baffled.


*there was no cut, but that's another issue.

Vijay's late, late withdrawal leaves me with just 6 starting this week. Fortunately captaining Molinari looks inspired as he leads in Morocco after an opening round of 6 under

First time playing this in years. Was messing about expecting the confirmation screen you get on OFL etc. and promptly made 2 transfers, leaving me with a non-starter. And then Vijay hurt his back

Do have Molinari, but not captained, and the stupid thing is I ditched him for Karlsson for Doral as both were playing 2 weeks on the trot, but I thought molinari might be a bit tired after playing across the pond.

So I go and bring him in anyway

I took advantage of the extra transfers Silent Manager gave us earlier in the week and brought in Harrington.

Naturally I have Vijay in my team so just the 7 for me this week with Stricker as captain.
