I would but I can't decide if I should read the book first! :lol:

I managed to catch up on one last week - The Escapist*. Not half bad. I think The Beach will be next as I've just finished that book.

* recommended on 16/11/2009! :lol:

Considering the amount of time it's taking you to get around to watching these recommendations I'd strongly suggest skipping the book is the way to go :lol: (especially as you may need to free up some space on your hard drive for a couple of this weekend's movies :wink: )...

Nice try - one out of two. :) I've already seen Silent Hill at your recommendation but I don't think I've seen Troy and No Way Out looks interesting. Fortunately I've seen all of the others (or already have them recorded!).

Stardust and Revolver were both great films, although they don't have a lot in common. ;)

Peeved that I missed 28 Days Later. I saw that the first film was on recently but missed the showing of the sequel. According to the TV guide it's not on again this week like sometimes happens so I'll just have to keep a better eye on this thread.

Is it worth being peeved or is it some way from being as good as the first one (assuming I'm remembering it fairly)?

I was round at a friends last night and tried in vain to get them to change channels and watch 28 Weeks later. The best I managed to get them to do was to switch during an ad break...it was quite early on during 28 weeks. They oblidged and I caught the scene when the little boy arrives at the house and finishes with Robert Carlyle escaping in the speedboat.

Such an intense scene, brilliant eery music. It left me feeling like I was there! The same friend gave me both DVD's to watch. Hope the rest of the movie is as intense as this scene was.

Finally a film I disagree with your opinion. This film is a load of tosh, imoho.

I rented this on dvd, and took it back 30 mins later. I normally stick with the most boring films to see if it will get better, but this one was so bad I could'nt take any more.

My expectations were probably too high, as I liked the original series.
