Still smarting from narrowly missing out on promotion last season, Ashers gets off to a flier.

Continuing where he left off last season, Demorgoth gets this season going with another defeat. Relegated Nate benefitting.

Pa also manages victory and is sure to proclaim "the only way is up".

Haha!! Like your thinking!! I'm more concerned about getting myself out of the bottom division though this time round!! The cup is going to be quite strange as there are a lot of near identical teams after transfers!

Who cares about a competition where you can win a pair of tickets to a game

To be fair, never played FPL before this season, soon got bored with it and lost interest but recently got back into it so going to really try and do it every week next season rather than once every two months.

Hey NateDogg, we've got similar players for this weekends matches so I thought I'd do a comparison:

Jules: Ivanovic / Hangeland / Ab Faye / Collison / Defoe
vs
Nate: J Collins / Konchesky / Shawcross / Fabregas / Bent

For me, Collison seems out of favour at the moment but the rest are pretty much assured starters. For you, Shawcross is suspended, Fabregas is doubtful and Konchesky is fighting to get his place back in the team after injury. All our players have decent fixtures though, so I expect it to be a close match.

You're spot on there Jules. I think the only hope I have is on Fabregas playing.

I think the verdict is he will be fit enough to play, but it would make a lot of sense for Arsene to rest him.
