Forgot all about the montly prizes in this, and pretty suprised to see that I'm in pole position for December. Just need Klasnic to grab one or two against arsenal (another 2pts for Shava would be nice too), and a 0-0 at the Britannia would be absolutely lovely. Could be enough to get my first ton too 8-)

Those 8 doublers sounds dangerous though, and hancockjr is certainly no slouch.

Game on!

I could win if Arshavin has a fantastic game and Fabregas plays. Too much to ask for I guess, hoping for a miracle here.

Maureenho wins December manager of the month comfortably - and he wasn't even trying!

Thanks for the confirmation WHATEVER, and what can I say, an atrocious start has been overturned with some consistency and decent results of late. I will also say, it's somewhat cheapened by the Arsenal game being abandoned, but I'll take it.

All to be undone this gameweek though... c'est la vie

A three way tie at the top going into the final week, with plenty more within reaching distance with a double gameweek on the way.

So who is going to gamble on a Fabregas captaincy?

  Not me. Frank is going to get very close to Rooney's record double gameweek total I reckon.

Congratulations to hancockjr who wins his 2nd manager of the month of the season. It looked closer than it really was as I was in second place.

Fantastic form hancockjr! And your team is amazingly well built at the moment. No Tevez could be a bother though.

Yes. Well done. Another multi-winner. That takes some doing in a FISO league. I wasn't really in it in the end.

Thanks, your team is also looking very good for the future. I think I have just overtaken you though!

Tevez can come in this week although I have never been convinced by him and Ade coming back does not seem to have helped in so actually not sure if I will. Big decision. I'm enjoying the competition you are providing!

It's one of the best head to head duels I've had so far. It was so boring a few gameweeks ago.

Each taken an 8 point hit - it's Torres v Drog in the captain stakes. I reckon this is my week to finally overhaul you!

I am noticing a deliberate ploy by a certain team just a couple of points behind me in the MOTM team picking captains who clearly are not playing, building up my hopes - until gameweek update!

Sorry about that Jonathan

It's just to give myself a little boost in the overall rankings when the gameweek ends.

Jonathan snatches defeat from the jaws of victory leaving bossdrum the champion for February. Jonathan took things a liitle casually in the final week, only putting nine men in the team! O'Hara's penalty miss cost him seven points and victory. No-one was able to take advantage of the top two's poor captaincy choice.

I've just finished 243rd in the whole competition for the March Manager of the Month comp; do I get X league prize? No! Respect to Andy Waring:

Cheers Hancock. I actually thought I was done for when your capt didn't play and you had Lampard ready to step in, but thanks to Mr Tevez I managed to hang on!! I am hoping to continue my charge up the table to mount a late challenge for the top three!! :D

Sorry for the delay in updating this.

Congratulations go to:

bossdrum winning £12 for April's manager of the month. That's his 2nd manager of the month this season. Well played.

In third place this season is Brightwater. In an unbelieveble finish to the season he hung on to a prize by virtue of having made less transfers this season than bossdrum! Brightwater wins £24

flyingkillercob managed to grab second place in the final gameweek of the season and he wins £48 but he was 148 :o points behind our deserved winner

hancockjr

a magnificent performance from start to finish see him 19th in the world. The only thing he didn't win was the FISO head to head. £72 go to hancockjr. Will anyone be able to take his X League crown from him next year?

Cheers all for a great comp, especially Le Red for running me close until the run in.

See you all next year,

Many thanks for a great comp Whatever. :)

Poor captaincy judgement in the final week nearly cost me, but holding off too many multi transfers paid off in the end. Bad luck on the tie breaker Bossdrum.
