You all remember my page here which listed EPL players on 4, 9 or 14 yellow cards last season? There's been a delay in updating it this season because the FA put in a new database for their disciplinary system and my contact couldn't get the report they wanted. However, the good news is that it's now available again, and it's now sorted in a much more friendly way which makes it easier to see all the EPL players.

So, I decided to add a few extra details especially for those playing the freebie TFF games. Yes, it now lists potential bans accross all four divisions. I'm hoping it'll be easier to maintain than it was to set up this evening (for all kinds of technical reasons that I won't bore you with), but do please let me know if you think it's worthwhile.

Thanks for info.

FA list seems to show some discrepancies when compared with TFF's club by club stats, as well as ESPN Soccernet and BBC. For example, at Swansea:

- Darren Pratley, midfielder, has been booked four times in 14 appearances in Carling Cup and Championship this season

- Ferrie Bodde, the free-scoring Dutch midfielder, collected his fifth yellow last Sat, 1 Nov, his 15th match of the term.

Apparently the Chelski one was misreported so has 4 yellows.

Good Point. This is the age old problem that my list comes from the English FA, so it doesn't include details for Cardiff or Swansea. I'll add a note on the page. Obviously only affects the championship this season.

Can I just confirm the yellow cards count across all domestic comps, League Cup, FA Cup and League?
So Ben Herd will now be missing the next game as he has 4 league and 1 from FA cup yesterday. Shrewsbury discipline is terrible. Thanks for the excellent update, Bram.

Yes, all domestic comps count, but not European or friendlies. Full rules including amnesties etc can be found here.
