No new news than that of him 'possibly' returning for 5/2 game.

So you'll have to wait til then i suppose :?

I'd say it was purely down to his lack of points lately. And if you think that nearly everyone had him in their team anyway, it's not so surprising he's as high as he is on the list (I don't have him in my top team, but if I did, he'd be out :P )

Why would he be out if you had him in? I'm thinkin of putting him in, surely his bad scoring streak cant continue?

Apparantly Jones, Nani and Rooney could all be back for the game against Chelsea. Good news about Jones as I think I'll bring him in especially if he does play on the weekend

im 50/50 with jones now..still very young and had a busy season already ..will fergie look after him now for the rest of the season ?
smalling raphael valencia can all play as well in defense so he doesnt have to play him all the time for the rest of this season now

Me too, can't quite make my mind up. They have kept a couple of clean sheets while he's been out plus they have a lot of midfielders returning from injury now and over the next couple of weeks so a midfield fill role may not be on the cards anymore..

I agree, he may be in a rotation with Rafael, Ferdinand and Smalling.
Maybe he can play in goal as he's probably better than the muppets currently occupying the role between the sticks!

I think he will play when fit either CB or RB, wouldn't suprise me if he played the odd game in midfield even when Cleverly n Anderson are fit as he played so wel there early part of season!

My only concern is when he wil be fit, no mention of him at SAF's press conference only mentioned Wazza, Nani, Young, Cleverly n Ando but worryingly no mention of jones? You neva kno with SAF tho!!

Also He's no1 by a bit in Transfered out list, can only think they don't think he's gonna be fit anytime soon.

p.s. Just seen he's not in squad for todays game!!

I was going to wait for the team news and decide whether or not to bring him in. Think I'll keep him out now, based on that.

That tucks me up too

I was going to go with P Jones, Oxlade-Chamberlain & Suarez

Now i need to revert to plan B - Vermaelen, Bale & Ba

Not bad i guess but i'm a bit concerned about having two proven sicknotes

Remember that the 1st league game after the transfer window isnt until the 11th Feb, so another week to get fit, and according to Physio room he is expected back for that match.

http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_ ... _table.php

So hopefully he should make his comeback in the 1st game after TW4 closes against Liverpool on the 11th Feb .. if not hopefully shortly after.

Slight risk in case he is out longer, but personally im going to keep him in. Reckon he will get plenty of game time once he is back.

I am considering bringing him in still too. Even if he misses the game against liverpool it doesnt matter coz united wont be keepin a clean sheet in that game anyway
And as a bonus this will probably make alot of the top teams take him out so could prove a nice differential if he recaptures his form

Just seen that Nani's not in the squad either and he was meant to be back for todays game, maybe he's just being rested to be on the safe side, could be a gd sign for Jones
